With the issues of lack of form, injuries and the fact we are shipping goals, I would reluctantly move to a back 3.
id go with (assuming paal, roberts, Richard’s, Amos and laird are unfit)
Dieng
Kakay Dickie Field Dunne CS
Johansen Chair
Lowe Armstrong Willock

Using resources to the best of our ability 3 has to be right for now - we have the wing backs.

We desperately need some more bite in M/F alongside Field and Johansen, I’ve been shouting for Aoraha for many weeks, he is a very combative player that has got plenty of energy.he’s been training with the first team since Beale was here, it’s another one like Armstrong that Critchley has chosen to ignore.

3 at the back gives us a little bit more stability and control and we should really be changing to it.
i don't think paal is out injured as NC says it was a precaution to take him off so aside from that there's still a whole bunch of tweaks that can be made to fit players in.
we have 5 subs so ffs use them on the front 3. start out with any combination of lowe/armstrong/chair/willock/richards/roberts and then sub 2-3 of them off after 60 minutes. tell the starters to really go for 100% for it and then just bring fresh legs on.
even adomah is an option at RWB, he was pretty good there under warbs.

Seriously, this is a great example. He’s 20, been here since he was a kid. Shouldn’t he have figured by now? They must know if he’s any good or not at 20?

I thought we had some good players in our youth team. I thought Alfa, Pedder, Bonner and a couple of others that I forget were meant to be good. How/why aren't they getting a chance? Are they shit? we are a club that wants to develop young players yet we are scared to actually play young players ... unless they are from a different club.

On the one hand, the club says we're building youth.
On the other, the manager is playing for his job every week. Is he going to risk his livelihood playing relatively unknown youngsters ahead of known senior players?
We all got terribly excited when Armstrong got a few outings, and although he's possibly the best of the youth set up, he's a way off the finished article.
If we can get through this season OK, we'll have the new training complex finished - I think (hope?) this will be a big plus in our ability to attract young players.
