My tuppence worth. Last season can’t be judged on. Place & team was a shambles. This season he’s clearly got us playing more as a team, more aggressive and definitely leaving it all on the pitch. I didn’t see that last season. His signings have pretty much been brilliant. Begovic, Cook, Colback, Fox are all quality additions and obviously their characters were more important than their abilities yet they’ve all started really well. His hands are tied striker wise. Of course he’d want a striker so we can’t judge him on that. Tactically I don’t think he’s amazing but he learned quick after Watford and our possession stats are improving. For me under the circumstances and with a large amount of fans on his back I think he’s done very well. We are not going to make any waves in this league without goals we all know that but what he has brought is fight, grit, determination and a level of respect to our performances which I think should be applauded. We dont need a striker his words Man is crazy Bill I’ve said the same thing for as long as I can remember. When you concede almost every game and you hardly ever score you’re going to lose a lot of games. When I moaned about a lack of a striker on the other thread people started rolling out the FFP card. Where is that same card when we’re buying midfielders and defenders? It’s a fucking joke and we deserve all we get for such incompetence in the transfer market. It’s a shambles.

Like the guy, want him to do well but there’s a really good reason he wasn’t snapped up despite 11 years at Wycombe. We are the only club that would have hired him, tactically it’s an absolute embarrassment. Fitness and chest thumping doesn’t get you enough at this level. Desperately poor and I swear if he comes out smiling after that he can fuck right off

Wasn't there today, but I'm ready to turn on him. Especially if he tries to shove shit in my ears in his post match interview.

It’s gone how many feared it would go if he ever got the job.
Only positive I can say is the football is not as dire and direct as I thought it would be but nonetheless it’s losing football in the main.

He's got to go, surely, question is when? Sooner rather than later for me. He's a clearly a good motivator, but he's nowhere near good enough as a manger. Consistently out-thought and consistently poor tactics and team selections. I accept he's got a pretty crap squad, but a decent manager could still get a tune out of this lot. Which is ironic, given that Ainsworth is a pretty awful musician as well.

How many games do u give someone? It’s hard league as it is, but once u near bottom and in a rut it’s a grinder. Longer it goes on harder to turn it around and catch up. Board have got to admit another mistake and pull the trigger

Warnock is free and probably what we need so let’s not let the door close again. Could he get a grip of Willock as he did Adel. Plus the Welsh runt is available
There are options and they are free.
We have not invested to much in Ainsworth only the number 2 so in terms of costs it could have been worse. The players we brought in should be able work with another manager as they are not long ball merchants.

1 league win at home since he got here with a points total of 6 in home games. Those figures surely warrant him being moved on. Very very poor manager in every department.

Very very poor manager in every department. one of the worst, 73, and we all knew how it would end. it was a waste of a season the very moment we knew that he was going to be given the start of the season. the longer we don't change, the worse its going to get. bottom 3 now, we will be relegated by febuary if he is still here.

“The haters will be loving this one”. That’s the fans who pay their hard earned to follow their chosen team I assume you mean Gareth? Not the best bit of PR you have ever engaged in.

Not the best bit of PR you have ever engaged in. he must have meant me....... i gave him dogs from the lower loft while he came swanning around, clapping. every clown around me were clapping him but i made sure he heard how i felt. the only thing we hate, Gareth is having to put up with a league two coach managing our beloved championship club. if you love qpr, step the fark down tonight.

He should of gone this evening He was given the manager role to placate fans who considered him a cult hero. He was a cult hero because he ran around a bit and because of the way he looked. He should have been sacked 3 hours ago and clearly won't be at the club for much longer but we need to have a desperate look at our fans too...

For clarity I was saying that this is a club who has Marsh, Bowles, Wegerle, Ferdinand and Clive Allen to name but a few heroes, Gareth Ainsworth being considered one by some is testament to an age when the Divs seemed to take over the fanbase in the court of Holloway.

Serious question though. Looking back, do you think there was a change in our fanbase (not in terms of persons but outlook and attitude) from the Venables/Smith/Francis years and the Holloway ones?

I have no idea mate I was born in 1990. But I think it is pretty obvious there would be, no? The 'outlook & attitude' of a fanbase growing up watching the sort of football the Venables/Smith/Francis teams played would give you a very different expectation & viewpoint of football to that of a fanbase growing up watching relegations from the PL to the 3rd tier along with the financial struggles etc we experienced along the way?
