Hindsight is a wonderful thing. The damage his tenure has done is huge. Yes never should have had job, then should have gone end of season. But to let a bloke who was at best amateur at worst criminal carry on week on week with no clue just cliches and gimmicks drag club further into the more is unforgivable. The difference between him and san Miguel is shocking. Ok marti gets it wrong at times but has genuinely got idea how to change it. Sorry but noddy and cants who employed him have set club back at least a couple years at worst lot more.Hence the Nourry appointment, which hopefully suggests the board have learned the hard way over their lurching from one recruitment disaster to the next over the last 13 years; and why we're no longer a Premier League club, or even close to being one.

Am not claiming to be any kind of mystic meg but some of us were warning of exactly this before he was appointed. Nothing that happened is the least surprising, except the sheer extent of his shitness.

To this day I have not yet played his record. If you do Shania, for your sake I hope it’s better than his QPR managerial record.

I thought he would be an awful appointment but he was even worse than my immediate fears and those expectations were not very high.

I had high hopes for Richard Dobson`s influence, but I was wrong. I thought the latter was the mastermind, but he most likely wasn`t.

Having built up a certain style of play for 3/4 years, to basically throw the baby out with the bathwater & get in a manager with the 'style' of Ainsworth was a horrendous disjointed decision. But, anyway, we've all been over this numerous times, we are on the right track (I think) now lol

What bunch of fucking idiots employed Ainsworth!!

i hoped it would have worked out and early interviews from dobbo about our playstyle were encouraging. heck, one or two of the early match playstyles didn't look too bad. but then gaz resorted to type and adopted a defeatist mentality. everything was about how we were unlucky and that the lads tried their hardest. there was even hints that the players we had weren't good enough to play a more technical style.
his appointment always seemed inevitable though.

Will go down as one of the worst managers in our history, unfortunately for him. One of our other worst managers just got a job at Charlton - as assistant manager to Nathan Jones. Have to say I was surprised, as he's 70... ...none other than the inimitable Paul Hart.

Be interesting to see where he crops up next.
Can only think he done himself a lot of damage with his performance as QPR manager.
