Only 4 votes. Least amount we've had before a game all season 😮

Gone draw. I reckon we’ll start really well then fold towards the end as fitness fades. Can’t see us having enough to hold on to a win.

Gone draw as well. I think we will be up for this one, and Watford will be a bit all over the place with the change of manager. Would be a sign of moving in the right direction. But can't rule out another surrender unfortunately, but fingers crossed.

Lose. I am not naturally a negative person at all but genuinely fear a bit of a pasting tomorrow to be totally honest, especially with them appointing a new gaffer in the week.

Loss. Can't see us scoring let alone getting any points.

Its great to see some of you are still optimistic about the club and speak from the heart
However we have one once in 24 matches so i can only see another 3-1 defeat especially to Mr Wilder.
Hope im wrong we need 2 wins asap urgently
Come on hoops dedication is the way forward our defence is currently operating like a kitchen sieve.

Oh I do hate pre-match interviews..
Getting in pre-emptive excuses.
Well that's Blackpool and Birmingham managers' pre-match talk done for them!

Big prob is Thing's favoured hit em on break approach can only work if you can keep it tight when they got the ball. We haven't been good at that. This is the dodgiest we've been at the back since the play out at all costs fiasco.
Massive coaching job required sorting out the back line and cover, ie priority no 1.

A hoofball fought draw so 0-0 for me. Serious question. Do you think Thing is basically shut em down and whack it up top? Because that wont work with this squad. For many reasons. There'd be no point in playing Willock / Chair even if they were tip top.

I don’t see the likes of Chair and Willock wanting to be part of that type of football either.

Waiting to see the team sheet before voting.
If it says Dieng, Dunne, Dickie and Kakay then its a nailed on defeat. Too many mistakes and piss poor performances between them, too often.

Even a draw will be a minor miracle. But that's what I'm clinging to. Minor miracles and the first appearance of Rafferty Pedder!

Early days but I dont see much evidence of that.

The little winger who came back from Torquay (the one who thinks he's as good as Mbappe, gotta love that confidence) could work out if we keep it onna floor.

My view, bringing in Ainsworth will set us back 3 years.I’ve seen 3 interviews from him this week and each one suggests he reflects the ambition of our owners.

Hal, Thing mentioned in a recent interview that he loves working with skilful players too, for what that's worth. The fact that he wasn't blessed with them at Wycombe (due to budget) doesn't necessarily suggest that he is not averse to adopting these types of players into a system, I'd have thought. I think it will be more interesting how he does end up utilising Willock and Chair once they're back from injury as that'll give us more insight into how flexible he is as a coach.
