Think QPR have to take some credit for that too. We made them look shite by all the hard pressing and getting under their skin. Their team that was already low on confidence coming into the game, despite having some very talented players. They were poor, but we made them worse. Massive credit to Thing for sorting the press and tweaking the set up. Hats off. However... we can not expect to sit deep for the last 40m every week and not get punished. Quality out ball still needed.... Agreed, but one step at a time. Three at the back, way more solid and a clean sheet. Seven players who probably would have started were unavailable and we were 13 games without a win. It was never going to be expansive, tippy tappy stuff yesterday. Would be delighted with a series of deeply ugly, scrappy draws in the next few games and get us safe. |

He not the best looking bloke to start , but you try and make the most of what u have, clearly he not got that message.

We simply ran out of gas and held on by the skin of our teeth through sheer Ainsworth-esque will and determination. But better oppo would have scored for sure. Indeed our fitness levels has been an issue all season. |

Dozzell isn't very good (or at least hasn't shown how good he can be) but if that's accurate what Gaz said about him wanting to play on but not being able to then fair play. Can't ask for more than 100% effort and I didn't see a player out there not giving that on Saturday. All of them were shattered in the latter stages so maybe it's more the fitness that needs work, but there was no lack of effort. Really glad for Drewe too. I really hope he doesn't just fade into the background when Laird comes back. We have a good young player there, let's develop him ourselves.

Fight in the away end upper, Watford fan on pitch trying give a pen, Watford players rowing with Rangers fans, rangers fans shithousing with ball and Martin living in the head of both their CB.
