Plenty of interesting grounds to visit. I went to see Bristol Rovers in October, proper old school ground, great atmosphere, it was a bit like going back 40 years in time. Which might be good for our squad.

Oh don't be like that Alan, there's always something to look forward to. I'm looking forward to going to Lincoln for the first time, always wanted to go there. And guess who their manager is? That's right, the great Mark Kennedy, who we had on loan briefly in the late 90s (IIRC) and scored some spectacular goals for us. Always wished we'd signed him up...

closer grounds, probably win more games. rebuilding the squad with hungrier playees as we'll be 'forced' into selling our better players. it'll be good seeing how guys like armstrong and kakay will fare at a level more suited to them.
i suspect we'd probably come straight back up too. maybe even win the papa johns trophy too lol.
this is all assuming we actually go down.

There’s absolutely nothing positive about div 1. The football is shit, the ground’s are shit, the teams are shit and mostly fucking northern. Northerners are shit , they hate us cos we got money and no rats as pets. The towns u will have to visit make fortnight’s holiday in Yemen look attractive. None of the fans we will meet will talk English , be slim, and not shop in sports direct, birds will be fucking gruesome, and want to fight u more than their baseball cap wearing meth taking fellas. Kids u will see all look like fucking ET in the film.
