I think this is a really important game.
The returning 'cavalry' did sweet FA for us at Wigan - but perhaps unsurprising as they can't have been match-fit.
They'll have a game under their belts and another week's training - they've got to click against Preston.
Preston are likely to be be very physical with loads of shit-housery, so I doubt it will be pretty.
Anything less than 3 points will be a big blow for us.
If our situation doesn't fire up the players then nothing will.
I'm going for a win for us.

I'm going for a win for us. willock, chair and paal all looked good on the ball but at the same time we never looked like a threat. i'm deeply concerned this year and of all the teams in the fight for survival i think we have the hardest run of games. if we'd beaten blackpool and wigan we'd have stayed up imo but now i'm 90% sure we're done. |

The current respective form books of both sides really should be tossed out of the window for this game. Therefore QPR should really be beating Preston at home. Ordinarily we'd be favourites for such a game - on paper as well as on the pitch. Is that the mentality Gareth will be instilling into his players? Knowing him you'd assume so. We're not relegated yet and it's still 100% in our own hands. Roll on Friday.
