I would normally have a faint ray of hope or positivity, regardless of the opposition.
Today I have zero expectation, it's been ground out of me by one crap, gutless performance after the next.
My only, almost infinitesimally small, glint of optimism is Armstrong on the bench. Not that I think he's that good yet, just that he has power, strength, guts and his own level of optimism (which I'm sure the club will grind out of him soon enough) and the feel that almost anything could happen if he gets on the pitch.
But that really is me clutching at straws.
If we come away having lost by 3 goals or less, that would be a 'result' for me. Lose by 5 or more and our 'fragile' players will go to pieces (the poor dears).
If we stay up, it will be because other teams around us fuck up.
