I personally found it odd that the club have appointed an American analytical company to find the new DOF. Yes agree Would be great if a major American Invester came into Qpr Bring back the cheerleaders for half time Superzise the burgers and milkshakes Razzle Dazzle Qpr

To be honest.... best all round
I still remember the mugs singing / shouting "Tony Fernandes" ad nauseam at Loftus Road...
Doubt he got much back from his £30M (plus all the debts) he paid Tango and Cash....
Karen Brady told that little titbit about a "friend" investing that much into QPR
Will never forget Wembley 2014 so thank you Uncle Tony for that but it's been a heavy price to pay since...

Yeah, that’s why i made the post, Reilly and Hoos probably the brains behind it. From my own point of view I’m not totally convinced, I’ve previously posted every MLS club still make losses every season including LA FC who Ruben G and Reilly are minor shareholders.

To be honest though you would be hard pressed to find any football club on the planet that isn't making a loss most if not every season.

The club actually played that film sequence of Pacino screaming at his players before the 4 / 5 matches we won at home in a row to stay up that season... Was really inspiring to watch on the big screen

12 years too late. Good riddance as this club will never recover from his first 2.5 years in charge. Piss off back to West Ham.

Thank you, Tony, for buying a debt free premier league club, and turning into a shit league 1 standard club, saddled with millions of pounds worth of debt. You have cemented your place as the worst owner/chairman in our history. I hope you lose all your wealth in the not to distant future. Fuck you. He lost most of his wealth in QPR, so think your wish has already been fulfilled! Don't really get the hate for the bloke. He was incredibly naive and a poor chairman for sure judged by results. But his intentions were good and his enthusiasm was that of a fan, which we should identify with (even if that can be a dangerous quality in a chairman, I concede). Thompson was hated because he treated the club like a business and not as a fan - so hard for chairmen to win. Even most of Tony's crazy moves were cheered on by the fan base who wanted to be richer than Chelsea. I for one wish him the best and just because certain blame figures have left (Toni, Les) it would be naive to think that this necessarily improves our position - is Gareth better at deciding transfers then Les? Is Ruben any better than Tony? Time will tell...

Stains, do you genuinely believe Fernandes lost a significant amount of his wealth in QPR?
Honestly, I think he was only ever a frontman for a consortium. I don't doubt he lost millions, just as he probably did with Caterham F1, but I doubt very much that all the money invested came from his pocket.
Whatever the number he lost, the guy is still worth hundreds of millions.

Whatever the number he lost, the guy is still worth hundreds of millions. Not sure about how many hundreds of millions now, unless he has a more successful new business we don't know about. Stand to be corrected but seem to remember when he first came in he was reported by journalists he had clearly spoken to that he was worth about £400m (and people normally put it about that they are worth more than they really are). Since then his airlines have suffered two crashes and covid. I also seem to remember reading somewhere that he had lost about £180m in QPR - and that was a few years ago. Given the losses we suffered in the Prem in particular when think (again stand to be corrected) he was the majority shareholder, thats a fairly plausible figure imho. Whatever he lost I think it was a pretty significant number!

I don't believe for a minute Tony has personally lost £180m with QPR. Wouldn't be much of a businessman if he threw away half of his wealth on a football team. Maybe the consortium he was part of has lost that, but I don't think it's possible his personal losses can be anything like that.

Is he still not part of tune group, which now holds land and property on ooc. ?
I’m sure he has done ok for himself. It’s our club that is fucked, not him.

Does this mean he’s not a property developer wanting to sell Loftus Road ? Was that not a recent accusation of him.

Stanley posted what was individual % of shares held, it showed Fernandes and Maranum named as being the Tune group.
Meranum resigned in 2022 so it’s possible Tune group has now collapsed at QPR.
Who knows if Tune stumped up any money for OOC land grabs, but whoever did it’s safe to say their investment has been recouped and pocketed by now.
