There's reasons apart from injury why he can't get a game and I think we saw why.

I would say that plenty of fans having been calling for his return to replace Paal think we saw yesterday that’s crazy suggestion.

he has been more then relaiable in past games but today was awful. What was he doing for the pen? Bloody awful.

Bloody awful. he thought he was in control of the situation never sensed guy closing down and went clear ball and guy got there first. Same with first thought was in control by getting body in front of man but then got passed. |

I fully expect JCS to come back in next game. He was apparently fit enough for the bench and been training. I hope Marti was seeing Portsmouth as easier game and so saving JCS.

As well as Fox’s limitations what his selection actually highlighted is that for all JCS’s brilliance last season those fitness issues have not gone away. He is always likely to miss a huge number of games. If he was a 40 game a season centre half he wouldn’t have re-signed |
