Apparently he will play at Oxford today as Ainsworth was impressed with his display at Reading. I know it's all about opinions but I thought he looked dreadful, especially in first 20 mins. Big, lumbering lump. If he is going to be part of our team this season I think we really are in serious trouble. Never in 60 years of watching home and away have I felt so negative about a new season. Bring back Gus Caesar

I’ve seen Rendall three or four times for the U21 side, in two games he clashed with oppo striker resulting in handbags and a straight red card in one game and yellow carded in another.
I thought he looked a better prospect than Gubbins who I’ve seen much more of.
Rendell suffered a very serious injury towards the end of last season so at least he may have had an excuse last time out.
