Gary Hooper available on a free transfer. Probably beyond our means, but it does reinforce what I've been saying about the amount of decent Championship players that will be looking for a contract this summer.

Probably the sort of player we need Ginge. But as you say, would he really come here for what we are likely to be able to pay? Wednesday actually released 6 players yesterday. George Boyd is another on that list who we've been linked with in the past. I suspect that this will be the norm across this division. Wednesday were paying these guys silly money so would suggest they will still be able to get more than we can afford to pay them.

Being released by Brentford unbelievably. Class rb who can play either side.
Would be a great addition to the team and I believe a player who was there under Warburton.
McEachran also being released and is a tidy footballer.

Knocking on a bit but can play centre half or left back. Was a cracking player in his day. Leader on the pitch too.

I watch Tranmere against Forest Green, and the Tranmere striker james Norwood really impresses me..He has scored many goals for them...
A CB I want to look at is Ajayi from Rotherham. Not on a free I guess. Hence he is not coming to us...Edited

The attractive prospects on there probably wouldn't be interested in the money we would be offering so, IMO, stick with what we have, offer Cousins & Wzsolek a contract based on what we are able to afford and demonstrate to the youngsters coming through that if they put the work in, a first team place is theirs to lose. If we have to halve our wages bill next season then I doubt we will be getting many players in. Of all the players I watched for our opponents last year, the one I would realistically gamble on spending any transfer fee money on would be Semi Ajayi.

If negotiations with Bidwell break down, we should sound out Jonas Knudsen from Ipswich as a replacement. He is a better player than Bidwell IMO, and supposedly on lower wages, so should be manageable. About time we get a Danish player as well  |

They only managed 39 games between them last season. Cameron signed his old contract when Stoke were in the Premiership so would be far too expensive for us and Rangel we just don't need another RB. Warburton tends to use what money he has on loaning younger players from Prem. |

I see Wycombe released that Michael Harriman. A lot of their fans seem to be pretty unimpressed by the decision. Perhaps they couldn't afford to keep him?
Rangers lad that would probably do a decent job as back up at right back for a very small outlay.

Will be watching Tranmere tonight. Two players out of contract end of season who have had more than decent season. Monthe, looks a beast of a left sided centre half only 24 ( we released him in 2014 I believe) and Norwood 28 year old centre forward who’s banged in 29 goals this season.
