Manager. Squad isn’t bottom three if team sorted out properly. I’d risk O’Neil - nearly did a good job at Bournemouth so I reckon he could handle our lot. Allardyce completely unrealistic.

A competent DOF as any manager would fail with these owners.

Would a DOF stop Ainsworth making decisions like Willock on at 97 minutes and 0-4?

if it has to be realistic then a new manager, sadly. i don't know if gaz can get a tune out of this lot.
i've always said that i don't mind losing if the team has given their all. heck, if we'd lost 4-0 but been competitive against watford and tried our best then i wouldn't be so down with the result as the progress would at least be there. instead there was no gameplan or organization and the team was set up wrong from the get go which is on gaz. i don't know who we'd bring in to replace him though as we're such a mess right now, it'd probably be someone like steve bruce, darren moore or mick mccarthy.

I’m not a fan of his but coming round to thinking that in our position Warburton back wouldn’t be the worst thing. Nearest thing to a Warnock who could handle squad and owners. For me, he lacks the bottle to really go for it but we’re nowhere near in that position now so that won’t be a problem.

Warburton is not realistic, he was too unpopular at the club. Chris Hughton could be an option short term. He can organize a team.

Folks it’s a simple question player or manager, no names needed no dof discussion as this all been said. 1 or other!

Manager. And of course with a heavy heart.

Player. The ones we have are useless and weak. Several managers have tried their best and failed with this group.

One player does not make a team.
Dont think change of manager would achieve much as he would not be supported by the board whoever it was.
Sadly the board have made their ambitions clear so neither for me.

Manager. Absolutely.
One player will not make a jot of difference to this weak side.
A new manager with 45 games under his belt can.
I’ve always got behind managers even when they’ve been shit but fuck me it’s so clear we’re on a hiding to nothing under Ainsworth if that starting XI, substitutions & ‘tactics’ are anything to go by.

I would take manager O'Neil but if he's not available then player Cook.
