I can’t think of many games (if any) where he hasn’t created some mayhem and confusion around the opposition defenders. You seem to forget he’s just turned 20 and says himself he’s always played on the wing in his short career. |

I honestly can’t think of any games where he has if I’m honest and I don’t think I’m being harsh. He works hard granted can’t knock that but delivers very little. Today was different that was a level
Of performance couple notches up on what he usually contributes.
As said that’s the standard hope he does same against Ipswich and gets back to back goals.

For a cast iron reply I would say winning a pen in a home game last season is one off the top of my head, maybe it was Cardiff? But it all depends how you personally see Armstrong as a player,it’s not difficult to see we had no threat when he left the field today.
Dykes surprised me today with his deeper position, our right hand side was much stronger with him there and Kakay wasn’t exposed.
I’m thinking SDM could be an option at RB as he’s tenacious.

I called Armstrong a headless chicken last week. The way he delayed that pass, when plenty of players would have speculatively put it in the 6 yard box, was far from headless. Early days but let’s hope Gareth can bring the best out of him. |

Turning a corner into an opposition free kick isn’t what we want to see. I’m sure GA will try and address that, without curbing Armstrongs aggression and exuberance, time will tell. |

Would normally agree with Gens, play every game to win, but we’re in such a fragile position and we have plenty of players we’d like to see so make changes. You never know even Richards might get a game. |
