Yes, there have been criticisms over the age of signings this window. However for a few years now we've also seen one of our main weaknesses being lack of leaders and players nowhere near vocal enough, both on and off the pitch.
Has GA finally seen and addressed this with the Begovic, Colback, Cook and Fox signings?

Got 4 centre backs now all not too shabby
Midfield - Colback Field Richards Chair Willock pretty good
Need a rightback and a striker now
French kid is a back up

Has GA finally seen and addressed this with the Begovic, Colback, Cook and Fox signings? Absolutely. You only have to look at the way the team crumbled last season and in previous seasons . A good run invariably followed up by a shocking one. Seasoned pros who are genuinely committed to the cause are worth their weight in gold, as long as they don’t spend most of their time crocked. GA tried to change the players mentality with the infamous Haka episode amongst other things. Looks like he’s gone for a more conventional approach now. |

1st chance to watch Cardiff game back. HT now.
Speaking of generals, Cox has been excellent. Cook and Begovic very good too. What a difference a few leaders make, as Itso says.
Really liking Smyth on the wing too. Always did tbf and like he hasn't been away.
