Wow, didn’t see that coming, thought draw at most. Well done the team. Colback two in two and wasn’t bought for goals😁 Maybe we can have a comfortable season after all. Lack of a striker still going to cost us long term though I reckon.

If Johansen could not get around the pitch to suit Ainsworth tactics I’m lost for thinking Colback can do better. Genuine question what does he bring to this team and what are his best attributes? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Kolli won his fair share of headers up front on his own, would like to see him drop into MF occasionally and break from there when Dykes is back.

Clean sheet not to shabby either
We are becoming much harder to breakdown
New signings have put a different slope
On the season going forward
Please for Dozzell esp after all the stick
He has deservedly received like a new signing

2nd half round up
Begovic, Colback, Dozzell and Smyth all continued where they left off 1st half. The men of the match!
Boro had no way through our solid shape of 5-4-1 whenever we lost possession
Special mention to the ref who's the best we've had for the past two seasons. Got all his decisions spot on.
Armstrong very anonymous today. the game totally passed him by. Got subbed for Koli. Didn't look at it all game.
Relying on midfielders to score our goals now. Lack of viable strikers remains a real issue.
Finally, Colback's goal was excellent. superb wing play from Smyth as usual to set it up. It was the sheer power of Colback's strike that beat the goalie.
0-2. Clean sheet and thoroughly deserved win. Boro fans are absolutely rubbish, deserting the stadium with 15 mins to go instead of getting behind their team, and the ones that remained, not getting behind their players at all.

What you on about now? Strange post. Home games much more important than these away games. You're talking rubbish there Timmy. With all due respect pal. And today has proved that.

Really pleased with how things are progressing
Now it’s been so long coming
Stop them scoring and then grab a few
5-4-1 has to be the way forward this season
If we can continue this we will be mid table no Problem

He's had a brilliant half Hits That cross for Sinclair on a plate just as one example We must be watching different games fella Every attack against us is down our right. It’s too easy to Helier us there. Every team we face targets smyth. Yea he has done one good cross though Yes agreed he's not a defender, but as a winger he has been superb this season mate. Not true to say "one good cross" - come on, be fair. Colback's goal, yet another example. There you go.

thought we were brilliant today. the teams entire mentality has done a complete 180 from last season.
the football isn't even bad to see, yeah its not as smooth and pretty as warbs or the eel's but we look like a much more attacking threat imo. we're doing the basics well, defending in numbers and playing people to their strengths.
i'm very happy with where we are, watford aside we've given a game to every team we've faced.

Not being funny but what more do some board contributors want?
We have SIX points on the board which possibly could have been 8 (be honest some expected 0 )
Smyth has been on fire trying to prove his previous QPR doubters wrong...
Dozzell seems to now be the man with Johansen gone... Who'd have thought huh?
I've got a good feeling going into the International break so thank you Gareth and the lads....

Let's not get carried away. We played well and lost so thats not a good sign. Beaten a poor Caediff side and an out of form Boro side. Very happy with those wins, especially as away from home and did well vs Southampton (who have since been thrashed). I am I'm the camp of not thinking Ainsworth is the man but ill be very happy to be proven wrong. But it's too soon (for me, anyway) for people to be saying that those that doubted him are wrong.

Enjoying the win tonight but I do agree. Home from has to turn around especially. That's been a big issue since before Beale left.
