Not being funny but what more do some board contributors want? We have SIX points on the board which possibly could have been 8 (be honest some expected 0 ) Smyth has been on fire trying to prove his previous QPR doubters wrong... Dozzell seems to now be the man with Johansen gone... Who'd have thought huh? I've got a good feeling going into the International break so thank you Gareth and the lads.... Great result, no doubt. Let's not get carried away. We played well and lost so thats not a good sign. Beaten a poor Caediff side and an out of form Boro side. Very happy with those wins, especially as away from home and did well vs Southampton (who have since been thrashed). I am I'm the camp of not thinking Ainsworth is the man but ill be very happy to be proven wrong. But it's too soon (for me, anyway) for people to be saying that those that doubted him are wrong. But you can only beat what's put in front of you, right? (Not that I believe there are any EASY games in this division.) And for those two wins he deserves some credit which I, for one, am willing to give him. Others, however, seem less than prepared to do so, which I think is SystemsGuy's point. |

Enjoy the win.... Boro maybe down on there luck but beneficial park rangers didn't offer them the usual obligatory three points ..
Hell even Clarke Salter lasted 45 minutes and looked the part when replacing Cook ..
A swallow doesn't make a summer but after the start we made at Watford (we're now above them in the table by the way). My son knows a bit more about football than me and reckons Ainsworth is cooking something so I'm really looking forward to the 16th September and my first game at home this season...

Christ on a bike, I wasn't expecting that! Been so busy all day with a festival I co-organise I've only just come in and checked the result. Going to watch the highlights now, Dozzell's goal (never even thought I'd be typing that) sounds awesome.

Hopefully we can use the break to get some players fitter and build. Back to back wins really would begin to change the feel. |
