He was only with us for one season, Shania. From what I recall he did pretty well, so wouldn't describe him as over-rated.

Robbie James was a Swansea legend and considered one of the best Welsh players of that era but didn't really excel for us. He had a lovely moustache and he could kick the ball really hard ,whats not to like ? |

Had some useful form away from home back in the day..... In recent times CW stands out as a head up arse signing by Les and the boys, Posh saw us coming and couldn't believe it. SWP was another truly awful piece of business, shot away long before he arrived. Everyone seemed to know except our lot. Looking back, Sheron's a very decent shout. |

Simon Osbourne, Mark Hately and Ned Zelic spring to mind. None of them were 'rated' by the fans during their time with us to be fair. The latter two may have arrived with a fanfare but Hately was paraded to us on crutches and in 95' it was still the prevalent belief that those foreigners can't do it in England so Zelic wasn't expected to be great. My own 'over-rated' player would definitely be Darren Peacock.
Didn't think he was anything amazing with us - consistent and reliable, definitely - but we sold him for ridiculous money. I'm sure I remember hearing somewhere that Darren Peacock had one leg shorter than the other......not sure if that is relevant, but thought I'd share it anyway...... |

Will Keane came on loan from utd with a good reputation.
He turned out to be the worst ever player in our history.
I would even rate the postman and hately ahead of that useless drip.

Will Keane was up there with the worst players of modern times. Another one who comes to mind is Steve Morrow who came from Arsenal and was an awful centre half while with us.
