The same could be said for you. Banging on, day after day about getting rid of him. Particularly odd behaviour from someone who thinks others should move on from Mick Beale’s treatment of us! By the way, he’s not a shit manager. A shit manager is someone who is given all the resources, all the backing and everything else they ask for and still fail to achieve their objectives. Names like Mark Hughes and Frank Lampard spring to mind. Ainsworth is trying to get a tune out of lesser quality players, who are continually letting him down by repeating the same mistakes over and over again. He’s not hanging them out to dry in public, but I don’t believe for one minute that he’s totally satisfied with them. Prior to this season, it seemed to me like the majority were thinking we were almost certain to go down with our squad. That in itself should indicate the general standard of player he is having to work with. The same level pro rata that he had to deal with at Wycombe. Shit managers don’t get to be one of the longest serving managers in the country. It’s bound to take time to get this lot performing as required. Kakay continually making errors. Willock seemingly downing tools. Chair, for all his talent, never really influencing games as he could due to his poor decision making and even worse finishing. Armstrong, despite his willingness to give his all, barely being able to control a football. Begovic, Cook, Colback and Fox, all GA recruits seem to get much praise for their performances. I’m sure Reggie Cannon would too if he were able to pick him. And who wouldn’t pick him given the options available? Patience is needed. I understand everyone being frustrated. I’m as guilty of that as much as anyone. We will improve under Gareth. I simply cannot imagine not finishing significantly better than last season. We really need to back our managers, rather than persistently slagging them off every time the results aren’t as positive as we think they might have been, had they made the same decisions as we would have. Hopefully, the players can start to put things right against Blackburn by performing better. If they don’t, then the fans anger which is as usual,(not only by Rangers fans) wrongly aimed at the manager, may make the board jittery, resulting in yet another new manager, another new approach and a higher chance of going down. Mick Beale left ELEVEN months ago and Ainsworth is the current incumbent of the manager position. There is a BIG difference between expressing how hurt you are that a man had the audacity to take a new job nearly a year ago and talking about the current manager. Beale hurt your feelings, Ainsworth is killing the club. Also, what are you basing this believe that he will turn this around on? His 11 years at Wycombe during which no one made an official approach for him? His one year in the Championship with Wycombe in which they were relegated? His less than perfect start at the helm of QPR? All the evidence is pointing to the need to get rid as soon as possible so if you have something we need to be considering let's hear it... Beale didn’t hurt my feelings one little bit. And regardless of how long ago it happened, I do think the manner in which he treated us, was not only disrespectful, but caused us problems nonetheless. Hence I can understand the level of dislike for the bloke. You’ll be claiming John Terry is OK at some point, on that basis. Ainsworth on the other hand is just struggling to get the players to perform at their best at the moment. And if I’m wrong, which wouldn’t be a first 😂, at least he’ll have done his best for us. I have no problem with a differing opinion at all, but don’t like the way some talk about him. Just think he deserves better.

Thats the greatest thing about RFI , we can have different opinions and not fall out or worse cancel each other ......
Although i never felt Gareth was the right fit for the club ,especially after Warburton and then Beale had us actually trying to play good football , everyone wanted GA to work , but it was never going to , it was a car crash we were all watching in slow motion .
I feel for GA , because he is a genuine man ,with a love for the Rs , but he never should have been appointed and now is definately the time to go .

I’d disagree Vespa.
I don’t think he’s ever had his best team fit. Given that our squad depth isn’t the greatest, I think that’s a big part of why things haven’t been great.
Would anyone else get a tune out of a thin squad?
I’d be happy to give him at least until the November international break, and maybe January.
Don’t think the January window will be of any great importance, as I don’t think we’ll do much - especially incoming.

On the flip side, Critchley never had a full squad and was sacked before he got them fit. Ainsworth had Willock, Chair etc available as well as the defence and still lost. He's got to go.

I’d agree about Critchley, but thought he wasn’t given a chance. Willock has had game time recently, but I’d argue he isn’t truly match fit. Dunne got a few minutes against Leeds after injury, but again, not match-fit. Cannon just not fit at all after a bit of a lay off - possibly a key player this season. Maybe I’m clutching at straws, but I’d still give Ainsworth more time. And frankly, not sure we can complain about a 0-1 defeat to what is effectively a Premier League side.

The way he sends us out to play is negative from the start , home games are like away matches , Willock one of our creative players doesn`t play , is that because of Ainsworth ? does he ( CW ) really hate being here ? ( he was fine under Beale ), would playing Chair and Willock together go against the whole Wycombe game plan ? I just think this was always going to end in tears .. so lets break up now ,before it gets bitter

Who has been injured? Dykes few games? Apparently Willock never played on Wednesday as he chose drop him from squad so that’s his choice not to utilise him or at least have as option off bench. The squad is not big enough or good enough not to at least have Willock on Bench if fit.

I mentioned in the match thread Willock and Chair were far more effective when they used to link up on the left with Paal. There were times that combo was unplayable, we scored goals and rang rings around teams - that was all under Warburton and then Beale and was the period we saw the best of Chair and Willock. Those three players are still at the club and yet GA has never played them there when it's so obvious that he should. As 77 said why does he never try these things out, same with SystemsGuy's suggestions.

I just think this was always going to end in tears .. so lets break up now ,before it gets bitter That's my thoughts. Why prolong the agony for everyone? He's clearly hurting as it must be heartbreaking to have wanted this job for nearly 20 years only to find out incredibly quickly that you're not good enough. The club can't afford a relegation and the longer this goes on the bitter the schisms already forming in the fan base become. End it now for everyone's sake.

In GA's defence the board didn't give him a striker but now we're in the shit it's the most QPR thing ever that they'll panic, sack GA, get a new man in and get him a striker from somewhere in January to try and keep us up. Shambles of a club.

I think it was more his size, power, pace was all exciting looking but in reality 1) He was never ready, if we had an established forward he'd be getting very little to no game time and 2) he's not technically very good & has shown signs of immaturity that he needs to shake off.
