Yes, definitely an aging fan base - and quite high as you say - and something which the club are alarmed by which explains why they seem to be 'dumbing down' a significant amount of content and going over the top to sanitise the 'match day experience'. They believe that's the right way to attract kids. A lot of people do fall by the wayside over the years or make it an irregular social occasion but the reasons for doing so vary. My own wavering interest began when I started dating and suddenly having a bunk up became more attractive than watching football and then, as I got older, developing other interests which were competing for my free time became more appealing and football fell further down the list of priorities.But still immportant enough to spend severall days lecturing about the moral virtues of a former manager, and how other fans should ive their lives on a football forum. 🤣 Several days would mean 72 hours .... I've definitely not given it that much effort 👍 |

Finding it tough to watch this year I must admit. Enthusiasm for Saturday is fucking low. We are proper turd. I've always say I go for one of three reasons; pleasure, habit, chore. It's pretty much a chore at the moment. Pilates class, lunch, Daunt's bookshop visit and then dinner and drinks with a friend are the more appealing parts of tmw. |

Yep. But any Daunt's is good 👍🏻 Loved the one in Cheapside when I worked in that part if town 👍 Used to also use the Oxfam shop in Marylebone when it was exclusively a book shop before it became a normal outlet for them. |

Right decision. Now punish the ref for being an incompetent prick. I'd say Bamford too but the more I look at it the more it looks like he's just trying to get out of the way. |

I had ginger hair too as a child so can resonate with the passion and and anger (I'm 1/8 Scottish). No longer on my noggin (that's brown) but a few remain in the pubic area so still identify with it to an extent. |
