I watched them both live, but I enjoyed Liverpool's victory more. The Spurs game was like a war of attrition, whereas Liverpool played with such panache it was joyful to watch. And to hit Barca for 4 without reply is incredible. I think Liverpool totally unmanned them with their relentless attacking, yet Barca did have their chances, and might have got that crucial goal but for the fact that Alisson made a series of fantastic saves and Van Dyke and Matip were immense in defence against the world's greatest player and his hugely talented mates. And that TAA corner which Origi scored the winner from was a moment of football genius.
Ajax on the other hand, blew it big time. It looked like they thought they'd it won at half time and their complacency let Spuds back in. After Spuds first goal went in they tried to defend their lead, and it seemed almost inevitable what would happen after that. But Spurs still had to do it, and it took some strength of character to come back from 3-0 down at half time. And as an individual performance, Lucas Moura was incredible. I'm not a fan of Spurs, I have to admit, but when Moura's first goal went in I thought sod it, if they can pull this off, fair play to them. And they did. Both were amazing games, amazing turnarounds. I thought both Liverpool and Spurs were dead and buried after the first legs. But I want Liverpool to win the final, because I think after the season they've had, they deserve something.

Runners up would be good for Liverpool, it would help redress the balance for all those years ago.

Liverpool have won it 5 times. Tottenham have never won it, so it's their turn IMO.

Anyone who went to Anfield in the 80s had stories to tell ... they were a fuckin nightmare , never mind trying to get back to Lime street station ,just getting through the car park by that park was bad enough , No love for those bin dipping wankers, hope they end up with nothing...

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd like to see Liverpool win it. They deserve something for their efforts this season!

Both have a combined total of 87 years since they won their own domestic league.

They made everyone else laugh that they would have won the title in every single season bar one in history with 97 points but finished second! They should get MBEs for services to comedy. Payback for 75/76 too 😁

Pochettino deserves it for getting such a good tune out of that squad.

I work with so many plastic Liverpool fans and they really do my nut in! There's one who's legit but the rest piss me off! They try and have banter but I just shut it down. They most annoying thing is as a 'football' fan you can't deny Liverpool have been quality but as 'football' fan in another sense I really hope they bottle it at the last moment! I'll be backing Spurs. Don't like either but they've not won it before and will most likely not win it ever again.

I love the way they try to use 'us' and 'our' in the same manner we do about Rangers when they have never been to Anfield or only a handful of times in their life! Sorry if I have offended some of you guys, when I use said terms. It´s not that easy being a plastic fan you know.

You probably need psychiatric help because you've chosen a crap team! All they've done is chosen a successful team to latch themselves onto just so that they have something to brag about in their lives. I've had the pleasure of going to Denmark but I'm not sure how interested they would be in the 1967 League Cup Final. Two VERY different things. True
