what utter idiots lol.
every team has history and every team has been successful at some point. doesn't matter if its QPR, man utd or woking fc they've all brought smiles to their fans faces and have won stuff throughout the years. those teams will all have their heroes and legends too. man utd have sir alex, we have dave sexton. utd have cantona and we have bowels for example. sure the man utd examples were better but that doesn't change the facts.
point of supporting a team isn't about having the big name players or winning everything in sight, its about the love of the club and being part of it all.

Globalists, who aren't from somewhere, support teams from everywhere.

To be fair, most teams and their supporters will have bowels...

I don't see what all the fuss is about. Most of what they say is true: people have their local team they support and also follow a big team for the thrill or whatever. It's no big deal. Sure, they're ignorant about Rangers, have no clue about our history, but they're young and, from our perspective, rather foolish. As the young often are. So what?

Might be interesting to take a poll on that. I know no one who has a second team in that capacity. Maybe one of the Old Firm teams or a non league side but definitely not a big team to follow for 'thrills'.

Maybe one of the Old Firm teams or a non league side but definitely not a big team to follow for 'thrills'. pretty much how i view it too tbh. i don't really have a local team, maybe a bit of a soft spot for sutton simply because i always managed them through the leagues on football manager. aside from that i used to be a big fan of the AC milan team in the mid 2000s. cracking team that!

Don’t follow any other team, full stop.
May have a passing interest in sides occasionally- frinstance Palace since Eze went there (but that’s more about Eze than Palace), or a ‘soft spot’ for some teams.
These pundits’ aren’t so young that they should be beyond criticism.
They put themselves out there as pseudo pundits who allegedly know something about the game and deserve the ridicule they’re getting.
Just more meaningless clickbait noise.

i don`t know anyone who supports a prem team as well as their own . I used to go to Sutton occasionally when they were non league ,and i`m from there ,but now they are a league club ,i look for their results but it would feel like i`m cheating on Rangers if I watched them now .
