You have to factor in Malaysia is mulling over joining the BRICS nations - they are doing their own localised cross border version in minimising reliance on the US Dollar using the RINGITT. “To entirely stop the reliance on the US dollar will be difficult. But Malaysia will be more active and aggressive in the use of Ringgit,” Said the Malaysian PM. Could be massive. However the RINGITT not popular with used car dealers.

I still think the deal is crucial, firstly and most importantly getting shot of Ainsworth,.
Really don’t see anyone other than Warnock wanting to come here, and even then he’s gonna want some new players probably on loan.
It defies all logic to let Ainsworth drag us into oblivion, the owners would have to give us away for £1.

Is there another article quoting from Hoos other than the one on official Stan? Both quotes don’t tally up to original post by the club. It's from his email yesterday to the SCC. I wasn't able to post it until the announcement went up on the official.

Is this the big announcement Jimmy talked about? Fella from the states on Twitter said that the owner Boston socks or whatever they are called is interested in investing in a London club.

A Boston Red Sox interest sounds good. How do we benefit when FFP is a millstone?

Why do you think that out of interest? It’s in Ruben’s best interests that QPR are a championship club. We’re gonna be a lot less desirable if that’s even possible being a league one club. He or close ties get naming rights, QPR get funds to either change manager or invest in players, we hopefully stay up and if it’s happening it’s happening. Don’t see how this would affect any potential sale at all apart from what I said.

Its not going to be like when Uncle Tony played being Father Christmas for a brief, deluded period buying this and that player. They won't be able to spend a single quid more than the existing regime - so we will still have people saying "why can't we buy a fucking striker" etc - but we might at least be properly managed. And in a few years time, with a good academy and recruitment set up in place, who knows? But it will be a long-term project there are no quick fixes to suddenly turn us into a club challenging for promotion.

I cannot remember a manager being allowed to be so clueless and shit and still be backed.

I just think they can’t afford to sack him and are going game to game praying it turns around. Newsflash it won’t.

Newsflash it won’t. I think we can be optimistic that this is related to sacking him and funding the new man's transfer window. This has been an option for them for a while and they won't have suddenly thought 'oh shit, we're running out of money, let's get the naming rights sorted'. The timing, to me, is a big indicator that they're having to take into account something that wasn't on the horizon until recently and surely that must mean sacking him sooner than they hoped/thought they would have to?

I think that is stating that he is the Group MD of Westports, which was the company his father set up.

According to the Malay Mail, the deal is worth £1.2m over 3 years, so £400k per year. So pretty decent.
According to Matrade, the three-year collaboration marks an innovative first for both Matrade and QPR, uniting sports and trade promotion in a fresh, exciting way.
It also claims that "...the full cost will be absorbed by QPR’s Malaysian co-owner, who is also a board member of Matrade”.
I appreciate that Matrade is getting some benefit, but if this is effectively an owner pumping money into the club, could it fall foul of FFP rules?
One to watch...

If you scroll through all the board, you will find several Group Managing Directors. They can’t all have the same job. 😂

As long as the sponsorship is in line with what they would expect, it's fine. 300 million a year, might be noticed and checked but 500k a year wouldn't.
