Any manager would struggle with the squad we’ve put together. I like Marti and regardless of what happens we need to stand by him. None of this mess is his fault

Would be criminal to get rid of him whether we go down or not. My worry is that he'll walk as what he's got here isn't what was sold to him.

Would be a disgrace to sack him but I can see him walk away if we do go down and can't invest in the team.
His life ambition isn't to manage QPR and if staying here will stagnate his career he won't.

If we want to keep him he has to be backed in this window.

He has probably a very good stay up clause in his contract.

You've got to laugh when you see comments that our current form is all the players' fault. Gareth eat your heart out :-D

Kakays not even deemed good enough for the squad now. Speaks volumes. Ditto Dozzell. All indicative of Marti, after 13 games, gradually sussing out the quality of his squad i.e. which players he can trust (to fulfil his game plan) and which he can't. I see it all as a positive.

I like him I like him a lot Love the fact he got Sinton in to give a speech and we didn’t plaster it over social media. Marti is class is everything he does.

Don’t tell me? “It’s all about us…” No idea what he said. That’s the point. Marti asked Sinton to speak to them and all kept “in-house”. That’s how it should be done. Compare that to Haka by some bloke from London all over the internet!

Thanks for heeding the advice Marti. Seemed to do the trick, wearing the shoes at least 👍 ...and whilst we're at it, Marti needs to start wearing his white-rimmed sneakers and beige chinos again. He had a lot more success in those!

Ainsworth managed just 8 points from 14 games in the Chamiponship this season, whereas Marti has achieved 16 points from exactly the same amount of games.

I’d love to see what he could do with some money to create his own side.
Definitely comes across as a good coach and man manager. Communicates well too. No bullshit with him.

I've really really taken to this guy.
Genuinely think he will go down in QPR folklore if he keeps us up as he's come in and completely changed the mindset of the team and actually given us a chance.

The table starting from Marti's appointment.... We would be 13th, 5 points off a play off spot.

The table starting from Marti's appointment.... We would be 13th, 5 points off a play off spot. This is why I'm optimistic and happy to be patient to get out of the bottom three. We were six points from safety, now its three. I think after Saturday it will be down to 2. The Stoke game is massive. If we keep Marti's form to date until the end of the season we should be safe. And given we have had a better window than many, that points per game ratio might well nudge upwards.

And let’s be honest the players have fucked him in a couple of games.
Millwall away, Huddersfield at home, Cardiff at home all come to mind where we should have done a lot better.
He just looks and sounds the real deal.

i'm seeing enough of marti atm that i could see us genuinely pushing for the playoffs next season IF we stay up. he'a galvanised the team, has us playing good football and is slowly putting his stamp on the side.
