If he does go we can buy 3 more Taylor Richards and a bag of magic beans with the fee we get for him.

I personally don’t see Sunderland as a step up more a sideways move. Apart from better stadium I would argue two similar sized clubs.

Agree with all above. Problem is it’s a career where money talks. Let’s be honest a club the size of Sunderland could offer Marti three, four times what we pay him and at the end of the day it’s the man’s job. I just hope he has felt the love from the fans and can see that he can genuinely become one of the greats if he sticks around for a while and gets us up. Those last four words Jimmy. If he were to achieve that his stock would be far higher, as that's an actual achievement. Certainly a much bigger one. I'd say that would be his motivation to stay as that would far increase a salary of anything Sunderland would offer today.

don't see marti leaving in the summer unless an unrealistic job offer comes in for him. sunderland are a good club but overachieved last season and odds are will have to sell their best players in the summer so will need to rebuild.
us on the other hand? we don't need a huge rebuilding as the spine of the team is already there, just a few tweaks and improvements here and there will take us to the next level. marti has heroes status here after his 30 or so games so has a lot of credit in the bank and fans on his side. he's rebuilt the club and restored fans confidence which can go a long way to getting points on the board.
he'll stay here imo at least for one more season.

If you read what the Hull hierarchy are saying on BBC website I’d be a bit worried about this one. Talking the talk. Surely we could see off Hull?

We can always get mick back😀 Well, Mick's worked in the Northeast at Sunderland, so Hull should be no bother...

he won't go to hull. ambition is one thing but it's hardly like hull are this mesmerising top level club earmarked for the title next year.
if it was a leicester type club or we'd been relegated then i'd be concerned but hull would be a bit of a sideways move imo.
marti likely has some wiggle room in the transfer market, has a team looking up the table and the spine of a squad here. he also has a lot of credit in the bank with the board and fans who worship the ground he walks on. he won't leave for hull

Without backing will find it just as hard if not harder next season.
Unless the yanks turn up.

He is ambitious and sees QPR as a stepping stone but will see out next season.
Beyond that he'll be consigned to the history books.
