So our new chairman, is a man who self admitted on many occasions that he is not and has no knowledge of footballing matters and he is obly a numbers man. This fucking club! Don't forget CEO Hoos also took on the DoF role after LF left, so it's actually THREE hats he's wearing now. Or is Ramsey now DoF as that and 'Technical Director' roles can be interchangeable apparently Oh my it's confusing

The Cifuentes decision is very bizarre if he doesn’t start well the pressure is on yet again
I still think the correct decision was Warnock to stabilise the club no question in my mind
It’s a dangerous decision with someone who has never managed in the championship
Really still in disbelief tbh
Very risky really hope he does the business though

If it is a desperate attempt to bring our P&L in line with FFP rules then it might be that if he sponsors it as an individual/ shareholder that is OK with the Football League but if the chairman of a club sponsors his own stand they might say that's too blatant an attempt to inject income into the club to get round FFP. As it is it looks a bit suspect calling it the Bhatia Stand as there can be no marketing advantage to him in doing this - which is what most sponsorships are for. Would have been easier surely to call it the Mittell Steel Stand or similar.

There’s def something going on with the ownership of the club no question And that General is why Hoos is in post. It's interim. Marti appointment is the most forward looking we've done for years. Everything is a risk, but this one feels like a risk worth taking. Fingers crossed.

Surely this is all good news , Hoos will temporarily stand in as chairman , money is injected by Bhatia for the stand renaming , Hoos is being used as a frontman and will ultimately be paid off and shipped out when the real chairman comes in ....and we will have something to spend without breaking ffp to try and keep us up and give the new manager a chance , in January Obviously i have no more clue than anyone else at the lunacy that is QPR , but thats what it looks like to me .

Amit has been AWOL for over a year. Ruben, other than writing checks, has been AWOL too. Those checks, however, are what's keeping the club alive. Nobody knows who Reilly is and what he does. Hopefully last Saturday was rock bottom. From now on things MUST improve.

Ruben is at most homes matches in fairness to him as I see him say at the back of executive seats. He don’t miss many games.

Especially without a DoF. Or, in the case of Les, with a DoF. Rubén's checks, however, are invaluable. He ought be praised, I concede.

The Bhatia stand cant be bringing in much. If Matrade are paying £400k for a whole stadium, a stand would be what, £50k max?

Seen a couple of comments on here that this will build up a war-chest for Jan transfer spend. Seems incredibly optimistic to me. We were right on the cusp of breaking FFP and having paid off another manager and his team on 3.5yr deals we are probably now over it. We are not the Emirates, the Football League will be aware what the going rate is for naming rights for a stadium at the wrong end of the Championship, be surprised if this deal for the year is more than a few hundred grand, the shirt sponsorship (probably a much more useful thing to have) is way less.

You always poo poo signings because of FFP, yet we always manage to bring signings in😀 Its a new financial year in Jan, are you ruling out loan signings too? I can see LFW are changing stance on the club being sold now, it just takes one over there and the rest follow suit.

I can see LFW are changing stance on the club being sold now, it just takes one over there and the rest follow suit. We do, but very rarely for a significant free, and strikers more expensive. The usual pair of 34-year-old midfielders on a free wouldn't surprise me tho . Agree with you re loan. Think best hope is a prem club loaning us a striker for next to nothing as they want to get them up to speed. That would have been impossible under Ainsworth as no club would have trusted one of their assets to someone with such basic training methods and tactics. But Mati will need to demonstrate we play out from the back, create plenty of chances and are not in some ugly relegation dog fight for that to happen I'd imagine. Re new financial year - they normally run April to April so would be surprised if it is from Jan but take your word. Bottom line is Eze money falls out of the balance sheet so we have massively less to spend.

Personally, I think it`s be far more important that the club move forward rather than whose right or whose wrong.
