It's going to be a fascinating match. Marti has had a reasonable amount of time to assess the squad and implement his methods; now we will see if they pay off. First and foremost, the goal must be to keep a clean sheet. The first thing he has done that we can see on the pitch is to sort out the defence, and it is from a solid defence that you build the overall strategy. If he can get Willock and Chair firing, with either Richards or Smythe or Dozzell in a front three, and with EDB as the midfield pivot in front of Field, a much-needed, much-desired win is possible. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Norwich are a quality side. I'd take another draw, but I've got a feeling we still might lose this one.

Fan focus has all been on lack of goals, and we all get that. But shipping so many goals made it impossible to win or even draw games. Already huge improvements with the defence but it remains a work in progress and in both Marti's first games the defence got out of jail a few times. Just stopping the goals keeps us in games. This team without additions won't consistently (possibly ever) score 2 or 3 goals a game. But if we concede zero or one goal a game we can at least start looking to score one goal a game, and then we are suddenly a competitive side. |

Crashed out on the sette like a sack of week old tripe.
Got Disco Junior and his missus over for Dinner and yet more Lager. I'm up for it about as much as a dinner date with john wayne gacy with his backpack of Garden twine, Pliers, Polythene bags, Swarfega, plumbers tape and wrags of ethanoyl chloride .
With luck a QPR win will have me up and about and screaming with joy like a toothless typhus ridden hag watching beheadings at the angled blade of the French revolution guillotine. Fuck knows.. what the fuck am i talking about..
