If he starts Donkey against Stoke then he is an idiot as he’s not the ‘only’ option,he’s got Armstrong Kellman and the whole of the development squad to choose from, would honestly rather see Dunne upfront than watching that wanker ever playing for this club again. Its all about opinions apparently Sparks.🙂 I only see one person ever defending Donkey on this forum.

I've never defended him per se, only reminded people that all stats show that regardless of the fact that him and Armstrong are both shit one has better career stats. Will apologise if you find and post anything I've said on the contrary 👍

I never thought Armstrong was the answer either. We will not stay up unless we can score goals, it really is that simple. In order to do that MC has to change his set up. It's really disappointing that he appears to have learned nothing from his predecessors mistakes. I was looking at the Norwich forum, they know they're shite as well, but they knew how bad we are in front of goal. Everyone knows we can not score.

From what I’ve seen to date from Marti, I know we’ve only picked up 2 points from 3 games. But 2 were away and I do think we’re are progressing. Got to trust what he’s building here. He’s had 3 games and 3 weeks (?) training.

should just drop all strikers together imo and try playing 3 attacking midfielders all interchanging with one another

MC appears similar to Critchley in needing to experience in real match day conditions how poor some of our players really are before looking for alternatives, If this is indeed the case what’s the point of having the likes of Hall,Ward and Ramsey in your corner and not throwing more light on certain players strengths and weaknesses before now.

Paul Furlong wasnt an immediate success. Paul Furlong had scored 139 professuonal goals when he signed for us I'm not sure you can compare that to the 5 scored by Sinclair Armstrong to date of which 4 were in the National League.

You made a comparison between Paul Furlong and Sinclair Armstrong. When the former signed for us in 2002 he had scored nearly 140 professional goals. We knew he had it in him. You think Armstrong does, that's not a fact.

First 10 games for us. DOH!! So when I asked if thats what you meant that earlier why didn't you confirm? When Furlong signed I was sceptical as although he had proved himself to be a decent scorer over the years he hadn't really been producing the goods for Chelsea. The first 10 or so games seemed to confirm my worries but, as we all know, he proved me and many others wrong. However the elephant in the room here is he had proved himself before arriving at Loftus Road. In the short time he's been a professional footballer Armstrong has scored 1 goal in the football league and 4 in the National League. Anyone who says he will definitely end his career considered as great, good, average, poor or shit is talking bollocks. We can only judge the merits of his inclusion in the first team on what he has shown us to date and there is no argument for him - OR DYKES - being anywhere near the first team beyond we're broke and can't afford better.
