Dykes still not as productive as he should be.
Not as strong as he should be passing leaves a lot of improvement.
Never in the right place.
Well done Marti team looks organised and know what is expected.

2nd half summary...
Paal for me is our POTY so far, just in terms of consistency. That's even with his three goals aside, and never let himself down even under GA. Even better now under Marti
Lyndon Dykes deserves a mention too for that half. He actually held the ball up well and laid it off a few times. The Marti effect there methinks
5 shots on target to Preston's 1 (over the 96) another very telling stat. Again, the Marti influence bearing out.
Willock (sic) definitely contender for MOTM tonight. That's two great games in a row
Dozzell too was superb, setting up our first beautifully and some other really good moments by him
JCS - what a defender! Just hope we can keep him fit
EDB - really unlucky with the great shot near the end. Could have opened his account in style.
Larkeche - another excellent cameo!
Chair - two brilliant assists for the goals.
Even Kelman did well in the few mins he had, holding it up, turn and run and buying the foul to run down the clock.
Oh and another clean sheet - Marti's second.

I was so impressed with the closing down of Preston when they had the ball. Something we haven’t seen for a while. Also, going forward we go attacking with intent and not just ambling forward. He really is a manager that goes for the result every game. |
