I can't recall a better goal than Willock's today?
Absolutely unstoppable shot. Keeper had no chance. Not to mention the build up to it.
Contenders so far (all cued up):
Andre Dozzell:
Lyndon Dykes:
Ilias Chair
Lyndon Dykes:
Chris Willock
Jimmy Dunne:
Ilias Chair:

Yea definitely the best so far. Superb strike - it’s good to have him back firing it’s almost like a new signing .

I think the build up play to Chairs goal and finish at Rotherham was just as good.

Thanks for uploading Stanley. Now the excitement of Saturday has died down have to agree with Acton that Chair's goal is way better. Arguably Dozzell's too. All three quite tasty tho...

Chair's goal is superb. I can't watch anything with A****worth in it anymore. Traumatised.

Added Dunne's goal now. If I've missed any more contenders in this thread just mention them and we'll take a vote at the end of the season:

Poll now added with all 7 goals
My top three are probably:
1) Willock v Hull 2) Chair v Rotherham 3) Dunne v Birmingham

Better technical and team goals but I’ve gone for Dunne as much for its importance at the time, the unexpected source and the joy it unleashed

Better technical and team goals but I’ve gone for Dunne as much for its importance at the time, the unexpected source and the joy it unleashed that goal was immense for so many different reasons. fully agree with stainrod.

I voted Dunne as well. Most surprising and very well executed. Chair at Coventry yesterday, as good as most of the above. Edit: Sorry missed Chair vs. Cov was added..

Dunne, not just because it was a cracking strike from a good, honest pro, but also because of what it meant for our season scoring a last second winner against Birmingham.

Technically - Dozzell all day long. My vote - Jimmy Dunne, Dunne, Dunne, de Dunne. For its importance, unlikeliness and vote boost factor of relegating Brum into the bargain.

Even technically Jimmy's is the best: receives the huge intitial punt from Begovic with a guided header outside the box to Armstrong who can't control it in tussle with defender, but Jimmy has anticipated the rebound which he chests and then volleys into the net. Utterly superb goal.

You have to be careful about eulogising about skill and intent Hubs😂 Sadly no longer with us but a guy called Richie Walden was a good friend of mine. Pro full back. He scored for Aldershot v Man U in 1970 - ‘he strode forward, looked up and picked his spot giving the keeper no chance’……..TRUTH - he found himself going forward with ball at his feet and no idea what he was going to do. He spotted a dirty little bugger called John Fitzpatrick closing him down and heard someone shout ‘do him’😂 so he shat himself and leathered it. Said he couldn’t do it again if he had to think about it😂

I remember Thiery Henry scoring a goal similar to Dykes.
It was goal of the season chest trap swivel and volley in one movement,so has to be Dykes imo.
