What we thinking?
I thought four points from Hull and Plymouth at home would be good and thought if we were to draw it would come yesterday so six points in three days at home would be phenomenal and probably move us out the bottom three.
Big game ahead but not easy as Plymouth scrapping away like us. They do however have the second worst away record with no wins so far and they ship quite a few.
They usually travel in big numbers so should create an atmosphere

Will be giving this one a miss due to working late. Voice needs a rest anyway. Sound like a horse this morning.

Has to be another win, Marti isn't the type to let us get complacent.

Difficult game in the fact its a short turnaround and Plymouth off the back of a 4-0 drubbing so will be wounded and out to put that right but, no reason for us to fear them. We’re playing well and getting lots of chances in the final third now. 4 wins on the bounce please!

His policy of mixing it up will be interesting. Who comes in and who drops out if we want another win and make LR his fortress? Our squad isn’t good enough for proper rotation, it’s all down to him using subs wisely.

Plymouth still had 15 shots with 5 on target against Leicester, Morgan whittaker in MF looks a player.

4 wins on the spin was almost unthinkable a few weeks back, but back under the lights at a rocking Loftus Road with a team brimming with confidence I can't go with anything other than a Rangers win.
Certainly won't be easy though, I never like playing a team coming off the back of a drubbing as they'll most certainly have a point to prove.

Am strangely nervous about this one. Plymouth have looked quite good from what i’ve seen and altho 4-0 against Leicester sounds nasty for them apparently they matched Leicester in the first half. Am just not quite there yet in expecting us to win games. Like Westy I would have settled for a draw against Hull and a win over Plymouth. That said Plymouth one of our relegation rivals so could really do with 3 points at home. Am going for a draw but will come back and jump on Mrs Stainrod if we get 3 points.

Question are we in the festive fixture period or does that start from Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday?

Me too, and I don't know why. I actually felt quietly confident we'd beat Hull, who are on paper a better team than Plymouth, and going on recent form, we should win this, but for some reason I think they might surprise us. OBV, I hope we effin smash 'em!
COME ON URRRRRRRRssss!

Agree with Hubs, Plymouth have blown hot and cold, but have had some very decent results.
Have gone for the win, but hope we don’t underestimate them.
A win could see us out of the drop zone for the first time in weeks.

Banana skin this. Decent side and we must not get complacent, fortunately I don’t think Marti will have that. Home win but tighter than we’d like

Real 6 pointer this one but we're 4 points ahead of them on form and at home, so I'd take a win here. Crucially MC has instilled the humility factor too, so no risk of complacency.

We are a team now who are starting to manage games well and they understand what the coach expects of them. While we are not setting the world alight for 90 minutes we are still in good form and producing good football in patches and we are a much better team than we were 6 weeks ago.

You have to untick the box first, then tick the box you want. If that doesn't work do it in Desktop mode which definitely works at my end.

So do we start best team to get on top then use subs or do a Preston and contain before going for the win later? It’s going to be one or the other with another game coming on Saturday. The way we started against Hull I’d go former.

Plymouth seem to be decent going forwards and poor defensively so that could play into our hands by flooding the MF.
If Marti is thinking of giving mins to Richards this game looks ideal.
The set plays looked better against Hull so I’m going with Cook to score and home win.

Bit worried about Cook, Chair, JCS, Willock all playing from start. Whilst they are in first xi, I’d be tempted to bring in Dunne, Dixon-Bonner, Colback. Got to use the squad with this and fixture list in December. Although, whatever Marti decides will be right!

The way we started against Hull I’d go former. I think Hull game must have taken a lot out of Cook, Chair and Willock. Let’s keep them fresh. We have good options now. Sinclair Armstrong, Smith, Dunne, Kakay, Dixon Bonner can all do a good job. I’d bring Colback in for certain.

Marti name checked Cook after the game saying he didn't make a single mistake so Id take an educated punt that he'll start. Same with Chair & Willock, must starters. Personally I'd drop out Dozzell for EDB & start with muscles who looks like he's chomping at the bit & let Dykes have a think about his offerings from the bench for 60 mins. Other than that I don't think anyone warrants dropping / resting / rotating for this game.

I’d start same side although I thought Field and Dozzell weren’t great.

Are the game schedules much different to years ago, I would guess it’s going to be much harder for Plymouth with amount of hrs and distances travelled recently.
