So to a certain degree the FA cup still has some magic left. if it had appeal we would have more then two stands open Been watching them go round grounds on bt sport all of them , outside prem, have half ground shut. That never happened 20years ago you drew your regular gate Begs question why do prem sides turn up still but not really outside top flight? Take your point but if we pull a top club at home the ground will be full

Was just told it's Cup Final Day. Didn't know; didn't know who was playing; don't care. Apparently it's a re run of the League Cup Final. And I don't know who won that. What a joke. Lol.

Literally the first time I hear about these is through mates who support them. Or seeing these kind of threads lol! Agree with Timmy though.

You have to hand it to Liverpool. They've been magnificent. Real Madrid next. Revenge etc...

Chelsea may have lost, BUT… they’ve created a new footballing record. They are the ONLY team to have lost 3 cup finals on the trot.

Used to love cup final day but absolutely no-one cares about it anymore unless you are one of the teams in it.

The way we're going we can look forward to even earlier exits in round 1 or 2 in the future and see the 3rd round as our cup final.

We should scrap the league cup and have a championship/L1/2 cup . Keep FA cup the way it is as a big away draw provides much needed revenue for smaller clubs

Man City = Chelsea of the north. Never thought you could get a bunch of fans who were worse than Liverpool or United but City now have gone past both

Other than odd exception it’s only four or five teams in the Premier League, that win both cups. When it’s outside of those top six sides it’s still prem side.

i know a lot of us have become conditioned to not caring about the cup.
But Maidstone FFS. Insane. And then WBA Wolves. Proper red blooded no quarter cup tie, on and off the park. Loved both games.
Meanwhile we get gently (or not so gently) rogered every third round. The joys of this club.

Imagine not being able to watch the FA Cup aside from the final. The cup was dying anyway this will kill it.

FA Cup as a kid and especially cup final day was magical.
They've absolutely ruined it for money.

Ok, I’m different generation but I say that decision is a sad day for the game. I can remember (too many) years ago everyone wetting themselves about BBC wanting a few extra quid on the licence - soon you’ll need a mortgage to watch any sport.

This odd thread suddenly appeared here, about TNT Sports offering to broadcast football matches.
Something to do with a competition called the 'FA Cup'...
Can anyone tell me what this mythical competition is???

It is a ritual that takes place in early January each year. We sacrifice ourselves on the altar of humiliation and pray to the gods for 16th place in the league.
