Sounds like he's gone to the board and said right, we need this, this and this, and the board have basically told him he'll have to do the best he can with what he has. They aren't going to back him. |

On a lighter note I would like to record this game as a milestone for me during which, according to Westy, I actually got something right ( when he asked me where Billing had come from) plus - given my reluctance to accept the currently fashionable incursion of females into our game - I resisted the urge to ask the ref to get her tits out for the lads. I actually thought she was the best ref we’ve had so far this season 😁

I actually thought she was the best ref we’ve had so far this season 😁 Agreed. She was excellent. Curious to know if this is history too. I can't recall another time we've had a female ref a senior competitive game at home. |

Disappointing, but generally a few positives.
Thought we’d lose by at least 3, so score/result better than expected with a weakened side.
Decent performance (mainly), hopefully winning back a bit of self-respect and belief.
Sinclair Armstrong getting a really good goal in a [edit] league big game.
Dykes actually scoring.
We need to kick on from this, as teams around us are doing pretty well recently.

DK posted at half time when 2-0 up we should be careful as the game was far from won. Had the exact same concern as we've seen these Jekyll and Hyde performances so many times now.
