If we are relegated to league 1, I hope we keep the core of the team we have.
I know that might be controversial but I think we have a very good league 1 players at decent ages.
A season of winning games regularly and potentially coming up could give us a shift in momentum and mental change.
I think Cannon, Dunne, Clarke Salter, Paal, Dozzel, Dixon Bonner, Smyth and Sinclair could all flourish in the league below and under Marti we could rebuild around them.
Even keeping cook, fox and Colbeck in the league below wouldn’t be the end of the world…
I don’t think it’s a clear out job by any means… I imagine Willock, chair and dykes will all be sold, but there is a core of players in the league below o believe would give us a excellent chance of coming back up and maybe a year down the road be mentally stronger for this league again.

Most of our lot will be on the phone to their agents as soon as relegation is confirmed as they think they are to good for league 1. Won't miss many of them tbh, bunch of bottlers.

Agree we have some decent players for league one next season but they would struggle to survive in that league too unless we can add a finisher and a midfield creator

Willock's out of contract anyway, so hes gone this summer unless we try and sell him this month, or he could sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club, which would force our hand a bit. At the moment, we have Cannon, Paal, JCS, Cook, Dykes, Chair, Fox, Colback, Larkeche, Smyth, Taylor-Richards all under contract for next season.

Whatever league we are in, we will never be competitive unless we have players capable of scoring goals regularly.
It’s simply astonishing to see so many opportunities wasted by these morons, week in, week out.
Every fan knew what was needed, the club decided it knew better.
We needed to spend the available money wisely, rather than have loads of players who are simply not up to the standard required.

Behave. If I see Jake Clarke Saltpot in a QPR shirt next season then we will go down another division. If we don't get a proper striker in we'll never compete either. We need a mass clear out and to get the kids from the amazing academy we've spunked all our money on.

Everythings depends what course they are going to take. Personally think we are as good as down, unless there is a huge change on the pitch. What follows could be a huge shock for some.

We are 100% down IMO. No goalscorer, one of the worst CB's in the league, full-backs who have no clue about defending, no-one can take a set-piece, and no midfield.
Whoever sold the job to Marti Cifuentes can clearly sell ice to Eskimos

if we go down there are lots of players who will be off. dunne, field, chair, willock, paal, dozzell, dykes and cannon will all probably depart. i don't think anyone will come in for JCS unless he stays fit for the rest of the season.
still though we have a good enough core squad there. kakay, larkeche, JCS, fox, cook, colback, EDB, sincs, smyth and kolli would all thrive in league 1. a spine of JCS, cook, kakay, EDB, colback and sincs would be pretty good imo.

Still need someone who know where the back of the net is Maids, and we don't have that regardless of which division we end up in.

Be interesting to see, might be quite sobering for some of these guys who are galacticos in their own Insta accounts. Dozzel for instance isn't good enough for the second worst team in the division. Is anyone really going to come in for him? Chair, Field and Paal might attract interest. Even Willock might struggle given his injuries. I could see some of these guys slipping through the leagues. Its a cold world out there...

Harsh reality is much of our squad is League 1 standard, and yes, we'd hold our own there.
Two IFS remain though:
1. Marti staying. 2. Lack of striker.
Check those boxes and we'd have every chance of yoyoing straight back up.

Every team that goes down thinks they'll come stray back up. We won't be one of them. I'll be honest though, I've no issue with us spending a couple of seasons in League One if we use that time to build properly again.

We will keep a core amount of the players we have and you have to expect them to be competitive in league 1.
We definitely need a striker and I’m sure that will be funded by the sale of Dykes and Chair who will go….
But it’s realistic to think cannon, Clarke salter, Dunne, cook, larakesh, Dozzel, Colbeck, Smyth, Sinclair will all be at the club next year

If J C-S stays fit for an extended period Michael will be in for him. Rates him as best defender in Championship - or did.
