I am toying with the idea of bringing my free scarf along. There, I have said it! I'm the same! And I never wear colours to the game. Must admit, it did look good vs Hudders having the stands in blue and white.

Field was suspended for 2 games and will be in the fans zone tomorrow.
Fully expect Andersen and Hayden to start in MF, would hope Hodge would fill the other spot but expect he goes with Colback.

There, I have said it! lol I see the club on socials are encouraging everybody to bring them i think its good on them tbh. we so often hear the managers go "get behind the lads" but its just a platitude. most of us have been to so many games at this point that we're worn out with being loud. seeing colours does something to your pride though and i imagine the players feel the same. whenever i see german games all i ever see is colour everywhere in the stands, its amazing and a shame that it never really caught on over here.

Be very surprised if Andersen starts but think Hayden will after making a sub appearance last week and obvs depending how its going be subbed around 60 mins. Don't think he has played that much football lately? Frey is the interesting one. Potentially start him up top and bring Muscles on second half when Frey tires. I'd probably go: Bergovic Cannon Cook JSC Paal Hayden Colback Willock Hodge Chair Frey Then look to bring Smith on for Willock, Muscles for Frey, and either EDB for Hayden or Anderseen for Hodge.

I see the Norwich manager saying we play far too good football to go down. But might be the usual pre-match bollocks. We could be playing Neasden FC and the manager would be saying "it will be a very tough match"

Good if so. Just unusual for a player to go straight in mid-season, more typical they come on as a sub first game - respect thing for the existing players.

Although most havnt seen him play I would question if any other players have his skill set in central MF and perhaps importantly set piece delivery. It’s the home games that highlight that we struggle most in MF.

Bogey team for us historically. Hopefully the stronger bench will help us get over the line.

Championship
QPR have been a really troubled side for rather a while now, but the appointment of Marti Cifuentes back in October could finally be paying dividends. The Spaniard arrived in London via Denmark and Sweden, where he coached Aab and Hammarby. When he arrived, QPR were 23rd in the table, with just two wins and eight points from their opening 14 Championship matches. Since then though, he’s added a very favourable 20pts in the next 16 matches – mid-table form really and given fans what looks like a very reasonably hope of avoiding the drop now.
I look a lot at 12-game form, and over than sort of sample, the underlying performance numbers stack up to support QPR being competitive against Norwich this weekend. While Norwich have returned a marginally better 16-10 goals return (to QPRs 12-11) the xG tells a different story, with Norwich showing 14.23-16.70 (indicating a reasonable overperformance of late) and QPR showing 10.88-11.51 (suggesting they have quite reasonably got what they deserved over that time in terms of output). Furthermore, while Norwich are hovering around the 48% ratio for Shots and Shots on Target, QPR have risen to closer to 53% on those metrics. Defensively of particular note they would appear in much better shape.
The last three results – wins over Millwall and Blackburn and a draw with Huddersfield are more than they might appear on the face of it as well. Three absolutely crucial fixture you would argue in keeping all three within striking distance of a side desperate to survive in the division.
I wouldn’t have been backing QPR at short odds, but at around 17/10 they look decent value to see of a competent Norwich side, but who have struggled to recreate their Carrow Road form on the road – winning just four of 15 thus far away from home and conceding 30 goals – only Rotherham have let more in on the road than that total.
12pts QPR to beat Norwich at 7/4 (SpreadEx, Betfair SB, Sporting, Boyles) or you can beat that easily on the Exchange.

I’m right up for this today. Sell out crowd, off the back of a big win and a few new signings. I know it’s the QPR way to mess this up but I have a good feeling.
