Great article, it really was a different era then, players drinking and smoking, mixing with the fans and relating to them, I’d read before that Terry’s father was Irish, didn’t realise they were from Dublin as he mentioned there, must do a bit of digging and see if I can find out where.
Anyone remember him guest presenting On the Ball in the seventies?
Great entertainer who never took himself too seriously.
