Not sure Stoke is a must win as we aren’t down if we don’t win. But it is a match we probably can’t afford to lose Tbh stains they are all must win atm imho

sincs over frey for me. sincs had a quiet game yesterday but has been in good form otherwise. frey is still off the pace and needs to be eased into it. thought frey did very well in his cameo but it'd be a risk playing him from the off right away imo. Unless Frey starts in the hope of surprising Stoke, who won’t know what to expect from home. He gives us a lead and, just as Stoke are running themselves ragged chasing the game second half, we bring Sincs, on a bull in the proverbial china shop on steroids. its great that we at least have some options and competition up top. most if not all of us have been in despair over dykes for the past 3 years lol.

Watched the Stoke match on Saturday
They are very vulnerable at pace over the top
Perfect for a super fast Armstrong
All goals went over the top of their defence
Marti please take note

If Kolli is fit for a place in the squad and Field returning it will be interesting to see who gets left at home.

Not sure Stoke is a must win as we aren’t down if we don’t win. But it is a match we probably can’t afford to lose Tbh stains they are all must win atm imho "Must win" means you need it to stay up. But as has been shown on many threads by many posters, mainly draws would do it. Of course I massively want a win - and feel more pumped for this game than I have for one in a long time - and we need to take advantage of the relatively easier fixtures in Feb. But those draws against Norwich and Huddersfield now looking pretty good. IMHO its the defeats that have really hurt us like away to Sheffield Wed and Millwall, where we should have got at least a point in each game. Keep the table ticking over and we make up ground on a lot of our opponents who are mostly losing. And it maintains confidence levels, which can be the killer for teams near the bottom if they lose heart. All that said, on paper given the form Stoke are in and how we are starting to click, this SHOULD be one of our more winnable games. Most of us on here tho have been supporting us way too long to "expect" a win.

Someone from Norwich squad will drop out regardless of Kolli being fit or not imo. I see Kolli as a possible game changer, so if he’s fit he’s in it along with Armstrong Frey and Dykes Fox is not a good CB imo, hes actually a LB that’s had lots of injuries so has flirted at being CB late in his Stoke career. Im guessing Larkache is fav to drop out.

Saw somewhere that Stoke have won 2 of their last 17 matches. If we don’t come away with 3 points it might not define our season but fuck me, we’ll have far harder games on paper between now and May. Must win is just terminology but we really need to be going all out to win this. It’s a 6 pointer, no doubt about it and anything other than a win is 2 (or god forbid 3) very precious points dropped. With the new signings we’re the team in the ascendancy and need to make it count.

Again, not a confident vote, but I've gone for the win.
With dressing room mood and confidence pretty high, players being (in the main) fit and with the new lads already performing well, there has to be a decent chance of coming away with 3 points.

Hadn't realised but, regardless of other results, if we win at Stoke, we'll be out of the drop-zone by leap-frogging them on goal difference. Sounds nice...

I don't think Kolli will play again this season. He could be seen in last weeks training photos shown prior to Norwich game. Maybe the Stoke game is too early but it’s possible he’s selected for tonight’s U21 game. Im guessing you don’t think he’s good enough to playing first team football right now?

I'd agree and would add: I define must win games as games targeted as ones you'd expect to win, as opposed to a game that would relegate you if you don't. E.g. you could go into the last three games of the season to the three teams at the top of the division, giving you a far less realistic chance of drawing let only winning. IOW get the 'must win' points in the bag as early as possible.

We have a relatively fit squad too which may not be the case in the coming weeks, who knows. Racking up a few points now will also do my blood pressure the world of good😆

As we all know we are good against the best teams
And rubbish against the rubbish teams
So it will be a slow start
We will start playing a bit after 20 minutes
Go one nil down and score two in the second half
Second one being in the 92 minute this is the Qpr way

As it stands league wise, what more motivation do the players need?!
A win gets us out of the relegation zone & puts our fate in our own hands, not others.
Absolutely nothing but a win tomorrow.

Morning all. Been stuck in the relegation zone since September. In recent months, twice we had the opportunity to get out but failed. This is our moment, our day. I wish I was going tonight, am absolutely pumped for this match. The players cannot be allowed to bottle this chance. Agree with general, this is a must win game.
Come on, my fucking team, COME ONNNNNN!
Here is a message from cookie…

Momentum is everything. I'd take a draw and a clean sheet. But this is a tough game. I hope Marti has the players focused from the whistle, we'll need to be at our very best tonight.
