This weeks guest on the ever excellent discussion series is a certain Les Ferdinand.
Fair bit of Rangers content involved, including his time as DOF, along with an amusing tale of how he didn’t sign for Man Utd.😂
I have to say, yet another example of how the long form interview gives us so much more perspective than today’s trend for soundbites and divisiveness.
Very enlightening listen.

I like Jordan. Bit pompous and loves himself but he does get stuck in and asks the awkward questions.
Been listening to his pods.

Yea I will give this a go. Share Jimmy's sentiments on Jordan himself, would def have a gobble on his own corey if he could but he dont beat around the bush with tackling certain subjects. I listened to another podcast recently with Les (Quickly Kevin) and he was really good on it tbh. It was a lot more light hearted & more talking about his career as a player than anything DoF at QPR related, but he did speak well & I enjoyed listening tbf.

Didn't like the bloke when he was Palace chairman but have to say as a pundit he's excellent. Talks a lot of sense, doesn't beat around the bush and tells it like it is.

Interesting listen but point was never made that the problem was Les, you weren’t very good. Jordan hinted at it by asking why shit happened on his watch. Admitted that Tony took him on knowing he had no experience of the role. A basket case like QPR in those days was no place to come and learn the job. He says he’d like to try again somewhere - well at least he’ll have had the experience of QPR to fall back on next time.

Came across very well and have to say he sounded like a man who genuinely cares about QPR and he was a very loyal member of the playing staff back in the day.

Non qpr but recommend “quickly kevin” podcast about 90s football. Some good interviews with Barry Fry and Glenn Hoddle.

Great pod. Another (also not QPR) but Undr The Cosh (presented by ex footballers Jon Parkin & Chris Brown plus their pal) is brilliant, I listen religiously. Just interviewing old players telling stories about their careers etc, it's got some greta episodes. |

peter crouch podcast is pretty good although it's slipped down a bit over the past few months. too much sponsored stuff etc.
fozcast is still very good though.
there's not really many good QPR stuff online, hoops and dreams is a bit mid and they always end up mispronouncing the names of various players lol. hoopsa is a pretty good up and coming chanel though.
