Having watched the highlights a few times now, that first goal is something special. Brilliant work by Willock and Dykes especially. And that finish from Sincs was sublime. Not happy with Begovic palming the free kick into the box though, that was poor.

Tell us more about your book launch DK, that's my world! Drinking bubbles, signing books. Usual stuff in your world I guess 😉. No seriously, it was quite low key, as we (co-writer and I) published our own book. It's a suspense novel we have been working on for years, and couldn’t find a decent publisher for, ie. the only ones willing to do it were shit or demanded extortionate sums, or both. So we ended up doing it ourselves through our own company. Sold 14 copies at the event though, so at least we got money in for some of the food and drink. Will try and get it translated and make an English e-book version, hopefully in the not to distant future. I'm sure you'd probably enjoy some of it, as we touch on a lot of the subjects discussed in the off-topic section here. And thanks for asking hubbs 👍 |

And thanks for asking hubbs 👍 congrats though! its bloody hard work writing a book. i used to write short stories on an old zombie RPG website called urbandead years ago (ironically my writing was a lot better then). started off easy and small with generic characters but as i built up a small audience i had to put more effort and thought into it other than *good guy gets gun. he kills zombies and saves day* lol. |
