Paal poor so far. Need a player of his ability to perform here Murdered by their right winger all game. Until Fox shored him up. I guess that guys good, however. Looked it. Two crucial clearances from crosses first half.

Dunne a revelation at right back, looks like he’s always played there.
Willock almost back to his best.
Anderson a natural leader.
Armstrong scoring clinically with his first touch in the match.
A manager who is complete class.
What a weekend!

Imo, It was again clear for "all" to see that Smyth makes a huge impact when he comes on late in the matches. Today Marti`s subs did all do well when they came on I think

Westy were we under the cosh for the whole game Watched the highlights it looked like it Or was that not the case mate ! no not the entire game. They were on the front foot but when we broke we looked dangerous. They had a lot of the ball and played some pretty football without really looking that threatening. Actually thought we looked the more threatening side and likely to score in final third. Had it not been for Asmir having a brain fart that’s a comfortable clean sheet.

Westy were we under the cosh for the whole game Watched the highlights it looked like it Or was that not the case mate ! Yeah but you can beat teams that are better than you if you put the ball in the net. Two chances, two goals. Marti has worked out how to win. Frustrate.

Westy were we under the cosh for the whole game Watched the highlights it looked like it Or was that not the case mate ! Backs to the wall, especially second half, but their possession was largely in front of us. Their right winger terrorised our left flank, but Begovic hadn't a serious save to make. Spilling the free kick caused problems, but we saw out the game. Someone (Field?) certainly blocked a certain goal.

What’s truly astonishing is we are above 3 teams on the same points by GOAL DIFFERENCE, every other season we are always one of the worst on GD.

Must say found their fans very arrogant listening to them on way too and from game. They were mocking us for the celebrations at the end saying we were acting like we had won the league.
They have had a really good decade but it appears to have gone to their heads. They might throw automatics away.

This was a great goal proper attacking move willock holding it up turning his man, dykes makes the run and gets perfect pass from Willock and then dykes plays perfect ball 💙

Today we mixed it up more than we usually do so maybe we can do more of the same against West Bromwich, I don't know.

Game management today was exceptional best I’ve seen.
Asmir slowed the game down without attracting attention of ref he got it spot on and Smyth option off bench putting ball behind them worked as he carried it then bought the free kick killing time.
👌🏽

What was Asmir doing with their goal. Not a hard hit shot he gets there comfortably gets two hands on it. Why is he not just catching that? they would have done so in the 80s or 90s

Seeing some negativity about Paal I thought he was equally as good as Dunne. Both of them were facing tricky wingers and imo both done their jobs admirably.

Trying to keep telling myself don’t get too attached to Hayden.
So often our loan signings don’t work this one absolutely has is a proper QPR player proper suits us. Imagine if we had brought him in over Hendrick few seasons back.

He got burned inside and out several times. But I guess that's because their guy was so good, not that Paal was bad. Stuck to his task, mind. Two fabulous clearances from crosses first half. One would have been a certain goal. Six out of ten, not a seven.

Thought both were spot on.
