I would perhaps start Muscles for this game as it’s huge pitch so try and turn them around but I think Dykes will start.

I was wondering that too. Maybe Stan means EDB? Unless it's a weird name for field... Big Girl's Blouse - 77's nickname for Field. Sorry, thought most knew that here 😅 Well you had us all guessing. Great Avatar btw and very appropriate at the moment. Can't believe four brave souls have predicted a win away. On paper (yes appreciate match played on grass...) its our toughest game of the season.

This is the hardest game to choose a starting 11 for, I think. We have to nullify their threat somehow, which requires a defensive mindset, yet somehow retain the possibility of hitting them on the break. That's why Westie may be right, start Armstrong to give their defenders something to think about, and have an outlet when we get a chance to break their lines. Hopefully Andersen will be fully fit, but sadly Colback won't be available. So I'd go something like:
Bego
Dunne Cook JCS Paal Hayden Field Andersen Willock Chair Armstrong

Well Stains, that would mean the statue known as Dykes starting up front, or the very slow Frey. I think Frey had a sort-of free hit against the Millers, because they're not blessed with pace in defence, but against Leicester? Hmmm. I suppose you could play Willock as a false nine* and go with Smyth in a front three??
Bego
Dunne Cook JCS Paal
Andersen Hayden Field
Smyth Willock Chair
*I still don't really know what that means, but Ithink that's right!

Think Frey will start against Leicester. He did ok on Saturday and will hold the ball up better than Armstrong, giving our midfield the opportunity to break. Armstrong has pace but lacks savvy and we’ll need that in spades against Leicester. If Dykes name is anywhere near the team sheet I’m taking a long walk off a short pier.

Playing 3-5-2 against Leicester is something I think Matti will at least consider. It should definitely be a logical set up imo. Edit: I think?

Not sure about that Shania. Leicester have two really good wide players and I’m not sure our players are good enough to play that. We’d end up with five or six across the back and Leicester midfield would have all the time and space they want. I think he’ll stick with four at the back if he keeps Dunne - and he deserves to keep his place at the moment.

*I still don't really know what that means, but Ithink that's right! Apologies mate, missed this. Personally wouldn't mind Armstrong starting, at least to stretch them and maybe help us start a bit more dynamically (we resemble one of those really old tumble driers that lumbers into life incredibly slowly). Also would be open to Willock as a false 9. All I would question is Smyth starting, he often does well as a sub but very few times that he's started has he impressed. Marti even alluded to that in his post-match interview, was diplomatic but said something like "Smyth often does well when he comes on as sub"

*I still don't really know what that means, but Ithink that's right! What is a false nine? A false nine is a centre-forward who repeatedly moves towards the ball in deeper positions from a high starting position, often dropping to receive centrally. The main intention is to get on the ball away from the opposition centre-backs – and, in doing so, to draw players out of position and disrupt the defence. Perfect job for Willock. ( not my definition btw )

Just gone 1 up in extra time. Let's hope they went for it with their full side thinking it's only QPR on the weekend!

Goal difference can be as good as a point in a relegation fight so we have ensure we don’t kybosh it today.

Goal difference can be as good as a point in a relegation fight so we have ensure we don’t kybosh it today. That gives Marti a problem. Does he set up to concede as few as possible, or does he go for a win (and leave gaps at the back)? I think he'll take heart from Leicester's recent blip and go for 3 points.
