dave tried throwing his lot in with attracting the larger fanbase of chelsea and moved away from being a fairly respected QPR outlet. silly really as we were his bread and butter. think he's trying to reel us back in. Yeah, I do also wonder if the regime change might have affected his ability to obtain information. Not sure he's had any real insight at all into our transfer activity this window. No one left to leak anything.

Apparently West London Sport have dropped coverage of QPR. Bit of a misnomer that, considering we're the only professional west London club lol. And yet it was originally set up to cover QPR by a massive QPR supporter. Dave Mac's primary source at the club was LF, so this probably goes some way to explain the change. McCullough has removed WLS from his bio too:

And WLS is virtually unreadable with all of its spammy pop-up ads. Refused to visit their website for some time now, so no loss as far as I'm concerned.

WLS used to be a reliable source of QPR stuff but tried their hand at the big boys (chelsea) a few years back despite us being their predominant customer base. paid the price, no sympathy in the slightest.

Interesting that while WLS is to busy or lacks resource to report anything about QPR they can find time to report on Wealdstone v's Southend in the national league. I think the club and fan groups should tell them to delete QPR from their list and delete the QPR stories that are now months out of date.
With Sky and BBC now also seemingly 98% concentrated on PL or european cups in their news reports Championship football and below is no longer considered worthwhile to cover and we are left to pick out the few pieces of info that could be true from social media, the majority of which is wrong. That plus the multitude of mixed kick-off days and times and reduced feeds gives me the feeling this season has not even started.

Well the previous administration used WLS as the unofficial source for stories when they were not prepared to go official as yet. Not sure how coordinated the leaks were, or if it was just one person feeding. But without a Director of Football, and with Christian Nourry covering several roles, he has presumably decided that he does not require the outlet anymore. That would be consistent with his other decisions to keep matters that used to be shared, confidential now. But he cannot control the agents feeding sites like 'Inside Football' who would not bother with a local rag like WLS. So I guess WLS took their ball home and decided that we were no longer worthy of their efforts. Unfortunately, it means that Twitter gathers far more credence when often it is just a schoolboy in his bedroom making up tales. I wonder if Nourry will be challenged on Monday about his regime of privacy. If we are indeed talking to Jake Clarke-Salter about a new contract, he must be furious that the story has got out, and yet the supporters would receive the news as positive, if allowed to know.
