Hope Hayden’s injury don’t keep him out Monday. Right shoulder right? Maybe reading too much into it but in video at end of game of celebrations, he shook hands with his left and seemed a bit “protective” of his right arm.

A brilliant 3 points although I feel we made it a lot harder than it needed to be.
Had the chances to win it earlier but what a strike to get the victory. Unreal.
Ref was shit. Andersen, Frey, Armstrong, Smyth off the boil and Chair with some poor decision making but he is fasting so I can only imagine he's not mentally peaked, and probably fatigued so I'll let him off that one.
Hope Hayden is fit for Monday as I'll be honest I'm not a fan of Colback at all.
Piss poor disciplinary record, always behind play and doesn't offer anything going forward for me. I'd rather play EDB if I'm honest.
All in all a great win and onto Swansea.

Team stayed out on pitch for ages too. Crowd not so swift to disappear today. Got the feeling leaving the ground that was a real corner turner that result. Maybe it was the amount of time before the game since the last one, the fact they had a new manager or the way we won it maybe but, I got the impression that one was exceptionally important psychologically and points wise.

Rotherham aside, it’s one of the very few games we’ve won where it makes a real difference. Had so many opportunities to gain points from those around us, was beginning to wonder if we ever would.
Massive result yesterday.

Was great to see the players stay out, This is the best spirit and collective togetherness since 2010/11 under Warnock. Nervy game but we got over the line and unlike in the past no one downed tools.

Reads the game well and knows when to commit to intercept a pass and when not to. That red hair of Colbacks certainly doesn’t bely his hot headedness, his default setting makes him one step away from a red card in most games. Often for stupidness rather than over commitment, as seen yesterday with his yellow for the petulant late foul after being dispossessed.

Bringing two of my sons mates with us to this one, all 12 year olds. Both come from families who don’t exactly have football coursing through their veins but have started “supporting” Brentford since their stint in the prem. I’m hoping to turn their heads with a trip to a proper ground with genuine fans. A decent performance on the pitch should help them see the light. If the players don’t turn up It’ll be a long drive home getting shite off two whipper snappers whilst I try and refrain myself from telling them to stick their Mac Donald’s up their arse which would obviously go down well with the parents. Hope you enjoyed the trip home Itso and perhaps a couple of new converts

Hope you enjoyed the trip home Itso and perhaps a couple of new converts Cheers Stan. This should give you and others a laugh. Set off with my son and two mates early doors so I could hook up with an old work colleague for a beer before the game. Made it to Askew Rd at which point the lad in the middle on the back seat decided to chunder a recently eaten Easter egg all over the floor/seat, which isn’t leather btw. He even managed to aim some into the rear facing heater vent behind my arm rest. Fair play to him😆 I asked hm if he’d seen Star Wars as it reminded me of the scene where Luke fires his missiles into the exhaust port. Not sure that cheered him up though. Anyways, luckily i’d pulled up opposite a mini supermarket so I dashed over the road and did a supermarket sweep stylie shop for items to clear it all up. So instead of enjoying that pint, I was mopping up vomit in the back of the car wearing a pair of newly bought bright yellow marigolds. Then had to wait for his mum to drive from Twickenham to collect him before I drove the last part of the journey at break neck speed. Afternoon ended on a better note thank fuck. Obviously the result made it all worthwhile but also, the stench in the car on the way home meant my boy and his remaining mate didn’t fancy a MacDonslds. The money that saved me will go some way towards getting the car properly cleaned. What a fucking day😆

Quite impressed with Sanderson yesterdayI thought the same but looking at Birmingham fans on twitter and they are slaughtering him saying he's the worst captain they've ever had. Odd as I thought he bossed both Frey and Muscles when he came on.

Thinking about all the former Rs playing for Brum (inc Dozzell who obvs wasn’t included yesterday) they are all quite similar: nice on the ball, easy on the eye, all clearly fancy themselves, but prefer strutting about in colourful boots rather than putting in the work to play at a higher level. The kind of big time Charlies you can imagine giving it large to paroxide blonde bimbos with fake lips and tans in a nightclub. Probably think they are too good for the Championship but not putting in the shift to prove it. No use in a knife fight, or a relegation fight. Makes you realise how the mentality (not necessarily the skill) of our squad has improved.

Made hard work of that, scrappy game but we came out with 3 vital points.
Rather fortunate imo ref was on another planet.
We just dont seem to have enough gears in our game, very flat most of the game imo.
Heading the right way as of now but still a long way to go with some difficult fixtures.

only bacuna and stansfield to a degree looked like a threat for birmingham. they're in real trouble this season. we made the game harder than it actually was with all our misses.

Said the same at the game yesterday, Colback does not track back with the same urgency as Hayden and Field and with those two on the pitch we were and are more solid. Glad Field has signed on again as playing well again and is a threat in the opponents box.

Love seeing how involved subs are. Willock hugging gaffer Hayden charging out with one arm fox flying down the line. Seems like good team bond at mo.

Glad Field has signed on again as playing well again and is a threat in the opponents box. There was a moment towards the end of the game when they broke towards our goal on a counter attack and he was literally jogging back. No busting his gut or trying his bollox off to get back to defend, literally ambling along 25 yards behind everyone else. He's not a player I like if I'm honest.
