As we have a fully fit squad, it has dawned on me that players we were fully reliant on, are barely making our match day squad, so what do we think it means for them. Some of them are out of contract.
Dixon Bonner - Was seen as a bit of a savour but now is no where to be seen. I thought he was good enough to play, even now I think he is but he isn't getting minutes. Kakay - At one stage was our only right back. Not even in the squads now. Time for him to move on? I think so. Drewe - Pretty much the same as Kakay but his back up, so defo time for him to go. Kelman - Out on loan at the moment. Not sure how he has done. 1 goal, 1 assist in the equivalent of 4 games, minutes wise. Still fairly young so I would like him to stay but ship him out by Jan if no impact. Dozzell - Will Birmingham buy him if we renew his contract? Seems unlikely but be good to get him off the wages. Duke - Mckenna - Another out on loan but contract expiring, I expect him to go.
Just goes to show how well we recruited and how much the players are enjoying playing, that these players are no where near. Under Ainsworth, I get the impression it wasn't enjoyable so if there was a chance to miss a game with a knock, they would. Now, no one wants to go off and it's great; just not for the above players!

Most of these are the players Warbs Said we’re not good enough which He got sacked for possibly
He’s right there not good enough
Had Les been here now we would be relegated already

Good thread.
Bonner only one I think adds something but he is one of the few players who seems to have regressed under Marti. If he was released would not be overly bothered.

He seems like a technical player so it would be better for him under Marti, but for whatever the reason he hasn't kicked on. Injuries? As with all of our young players... they aren't actually that young. So if he isn't playing now, I agree he should probably be released, unless his wages are tiny then it's worth a gamble.

Dixon-Bonner the only one there I retain some hope for. Maybe go out on loan next season, play 40 games, then review?

Ages...
Dixon Bonner - 23 Kakay - 26 Drewe - 23 Kelman - 22 Dozzell - 25 in three weeks Duke-Mckenna - 23
Maybe Marti will give those on loan a look when they're back, but doubt any of them will be first team regulars. One or two look 'promising', but 'promising' needs to turn into 'good' and 'reliable' pronto.

Only objective for Marti this season was the survival from relegation, I think once that is (hopefully) achieved he will give the whole squad a good look and see who he can and can't use. We don't have that luxury right now, we need all the cover we can get, no matter who it is. I reckon we'll probably let a couple of those go and loan out a couple more, probably keep Dixon-Bonner, Kakay maybe too. Reggie Cannon is another one that's not really had a look in recently, it may speak volumes that Marti is playing a CB in Jimmy Dunne over a natural right back like Cannon (in fairness Jimmy has been a revelation in that position).
