Not going to be a popular view, but serious questions need to be asked about Cifuentes now. Yes, he has done a marvellous job in regard to the way we play in general, but recent performances, Easter weekend aside, have been abysmal. He just doesn’t seem at all capable of selecting a side who can take a game by the scruff of the neck from the start. Could quite easily have been safe weeks ago had we not consistently dropped points against teams around us. Far too much caution and negative tactics for my liking, which has put us right back in the shit. Can't blame him imo. This same group of cunts have underperformed for 5 managers now. Same group by and large. It's the players. Give Marti time to get the deadwood out and bring his own players in and we'll improve. This lot don't have a stomach between them. If they down tools even Guardiola won't get a tune out of them. |

Why the hell is he still picking Dykes. He needs to be asked that question as it really is like playing with 10 men every game. This team do not turn up for pressure games so we are now going on these runs where our form has gone. They need to go for the throat against Preston and get to 50 points. We could be bang in trouble by the time we kick off next week so the most positive line up needs to be picked.

Horrible result but still in our hands. Two home games to come and others have some tricky fixtures too. Massive touch with that wells penalty but fuck me we make it hard for ourselves Coventry will also be out of the play off race come the last day. So unnecessarily stressful

Way beyond those 2, 51 away games without an away goal for an international centre forward. Armstrong runs and Frey harries Dykes does neither. |
