Stop taking the piss by picking Dykes. How many months ago did I say on this board, if I was the QPR manager I would have pulled him to the side and said I’m gonna go forward without you. Regardless of the lack of options upfront I just cannot put any faith in him. I would have to work with what I’ve got without him because he literally offers nothing as in zero. And unfortunately that’s how it’s played out.

Hopefully the Birmingham result is more a reflection of the Coventry players not trying too hard in case they injure themselves and miss the cup semi final - rather than Birmingham suddenly finding some form.
With luck Brum will get a reality check next week and lose at Rotherham…
Not clutching at straws… honestly…

the argument of who is up top is a mute point now. Whoever it is is shit and like having ten men. It’s just a matter of which turd this week. There are levels of Shit and Dykes is levels above both of the other two. Way beyond those 2, 51 away games without an away goal for an international centre forward. Armstrong runs and Frey harries Dykes does neither. shit is shit none of them do anything which has made any difference for 99% of the season. I have ZERO confidence in any of the three to do anything between now and the end of the season.

No one questioning them being shit but in Frey's case he presses and runs and in Armstrong's case he runs and puts himself about both mean defenders actually have to try. Dykes on the pitch means defenders have an easy game as he is simply shit and no threat in any shape or form.

Can’t disagree with the fact that the front three are absolutely terrible but as mentioned by 73 above, the other two at least give defenders something to think about.
The Scottish wanker just ambles about the pitch as if he’s a fan that’s won a fucking competition.
Work rate for me, counts for a lot regardless of the end result.
Someone might be shit but I’d like to think at least they are trying. This fucking wanker doesn’t even do that.

As I said in match thread few players have mastered looking busy when they are not.

As I said in match thread few players have mastered looking busy when they are not. The difference is, them same players will give you a performance every few games. I Keep harping back to this fucking Scottish prick who does this every single week. Offers nothing. Gives nothing. Will never give anything. Time has told us that.

Armstrong for all his alleged effort runs about, falls over looks at ref, don’t get free kick and has hissy fit then repeat. What does his effort actually contribute??? Fuck all his output is the same as Dykes. Just my opinion.

Talking about no output the defence for Smyth too is he has energy but again what does he contribute in actual output fuck all again.
In last two games he should have four goals but has grand total of none. Another talentless player who appears only to be a footballer because he’s quick at running in straight lines.

Hard to defend him after that, especially the easy as pie clearance off the line, but, unlike that useless bastard, you can say he misses things.

I`m sorry, but It has slowly got to a point where I don't bother watching our matches any more. I could be wrong, but it looks like it`s no collective fight left in this team at all.

There's zero fight or backbone in this lot, bar maybe a few (Field, Hayden, Dunne, Cook, JCS, Fox all spring to mind).

Just got back…..fuck I’m tired and depressed and sober. Normally try to be upbeat but that’s difficult to take.
I thought we started well for 4 minutes….Chair could have released Anderson into area and instead….well did sod all.
They score a goal, that you can’t do much about. Their 2nd….to be honest maybe Begovic could have been quicker but their lad is swift. 2nd half…..Smyth….for all the good stuff he does, his finishing is abysmal.
I thought Cannon looked decent…..and maybe Willock was trying to do things. Field was ok too. Everyone else…rubbish.
Dykes……he was no worse nor better than most. 3 more games, if he starts got to support him.

Clear out needed, whichever division we are in. Of today's team I'd keep only the back four, Field and Hayden. Every team losses games. Liverpool or Arsenal fans probably shout “clear out needed” when they are pissed off after a loss. Since the end of the transfer window we have lost far fewer than most. Respect your opinions but it’s only worth having a clear out if you can bring in better. We are told the purse strings can be loosened a little this summer but it’s still going to be mainly free transfers. Probably an unpopular view after such a poor performance but if we could keep Hayden and add two strikers who can actually score goals I think we have a highly competitive Championship squad. I think Hayden and two strikers is minimum and don’t thick that changes an awful lot. Perhaps pushes us top the sides fighting/bottom of mid table.

No matter what quality the strikers may be you need to get service into them. How are any of them going to score when Chair and Willock rarely pass the ball when they get close to the box ?

But think our defence as good as most in this league. Ditto our defensive midfield with Hayden. Chair, Willock and Andersen the enigmas: on their day look as good as most in this division but way too inconsistent. That said there are teams higher than Brum that would love to have them. That leaves the strikers. Imagine if we had the two Plymouth strikers! Not saying that team goes up but could compete with all bar the parachute clubs and flirt with the play offs IMHO.
