Lol. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. It's largely down to him, and Ainsworth/ Les/ the PE teacher/ the board, who let us go into a season with only him up front, that we've had such a shit season. The keeper gave him the goal. He so wasn't anywhere near where the ball was played 😂🤣😂 but he stuck it away. If he had missed he would have been a shit cunt so credit where it’s due. He's still a shit cunt 😉😉

Brum need 2 wins from 2 Sw need 3 wins from 3 If we dont get another point. Not going to happen is it. Don't they play each other as well?

still buzzing after today and i will savour it for some time. if you'd told me when marti was appointed that he'd keep us up and relatively comfortably at that i'd have laughed in your face. what a turnaround it's been.
we didn't make it easy for ourselves though, squandered a few good chances and didn't take advantage of others. last ten minutes were among the most nervous i've been at a game but what a response from the crowd during those last ten minutes, LR was absolutely bouncing.

After 8 years, we have finally found a replacement for Clint (god) Hill this will be controversial but I personally think Cook is in another league to Hill. Loved Hill but cook way better.

What a fantastic atmosphere, a great performance and brilliant result. No voice today, but can't stop grinning. One or two individual mistakes, but every player was up for it and put a shift in. We were behind the goal in the School End, sat next to four (huge!) Dutch fans. They were hilarious, giving Preston's keeper absolutely non-stop (and very loud) dog's abuse the whole of the first half. So we credited them with an assist for Dykes' goal, as Woodman fumbled the cross. Brilliant. Framed picture of Neil Kinnock now on mantelpiece...

Please enlighten me about this Neil Kinnock thing. I seem to have missed it and I don't want to miss a thing.

Not seen it noted but another clean sheet.
For as bad as we have been this season we have come on leaps and bounds defensively.

Just shows what can happen with an early cross Actually, looking at the goal again, it was a crap cross from Willock. So much so, I even think it may have been a shot, trying to curl it into the far top corner - it was absolutely nowhere near Dunne in the middle and only fell to Dykes courtesy of their keeper. Not complaining though...

It would be nice to win a game by more than one goal. We should have been a few up at Plymouth, and look what happened. Last time was Millwall at home I believe.

Also, how are PNE a top 10 side? They’re shite.
If that’s the barometer for top 10 I’d say under MC and a few players in we’ll be well up there next season.

Said the very same at half time, to my son. we smashed them in that first half, playing nice triangle passing right through their midfield. they were very poor.
