I would still start with only two of those midfielders and Smyth and Frey. Smyth as poor as he is can bring the ball inside the box. Maybe Frey is there to put rebounds in.
but one assist all season says don’t matter if he brings the ball inside there is no end product.
I know, but it's better to have missed chances than no chances at all. I guess.

I get that point Doc but counterpoint is he creating chances to miss? Off top of my head I’m struggling to think of any quality he’s put in the box.
Our problem is the options are so dire to switch up things we’re literally scrapping the barrel
This was supposed to be the reasons we signed Hodge and Andersen but these signings haven't really taken off yet. I know I'm sounding like a broken record here but maintain I think Andersen is being played in the wrong position.

Loved Dexter, he was a brilliant striker looking back on his time.
one of my favourite players when i was a kid lol. one of my first online names was "blackspock" in homage to him and sci fi in general, looking back the name probably made me seem like a wannabe edgy fun loving racist

Where should he be playing?
On the right instead of the left. Where he played on his debut and did much better there. This would also allow Willock to move more central where he is much more effective too. Been banging on about this for ages. Everytime they swap roles we always look more threatening. That's the frustration.

I put win but I’m not really that confident. Where do the goals come from?? Really worried that victories for Birmingham and Huddersfield will be too much pressure for us.

I'm incredibly confident. 3-0 Rs. Goals from everywhere.

If Norwich get point Saturday Preston could be out the play offs before we play them Late kick off ,Hopefully Norwich do the business and we face a deflated preston.
Since MC has come in & despite some up & down results I’ve never felt we’d actually go down under him BUT, lose Saturday & I genuinely fear for us going into the last couple of very difficult games.
Can’t think of anything else but a win. Plain & simple.
They haven’t got a cat in hells chance of making the play offs. They’ll know it, despite their manager not openly saying it. They’ll have travelled up and down the length of the country and played a game before travelling the length of the country again to play us, just a matter of days later. That’s assuming they’re not staying down this way between games. If we don’t beat that lot then god help us. Then again, their supposed exhaustion could simply result in us getting more chances, meaning we miss a dozen opportunities to score instead of the usual half a dozen😆
As things stand I’d actually take a draw. That would mean Hudds or Wednesday would need to go unbeaten in their last 3, winning at least one game in that run. I just can’t see that happening. But please Rangers, particularly Willock and Chair, fucking turn up and do the business so we can breathe a mini sigh of relief at least.

Now is the time, more than any other time, for the proverbial rabbit to be pulled from the hat!
