Christ yea forgot about him. Really randomly Kevin Lisbie's popped up in a WhatsApp group I am in recently (don't ask lol) and somebody mentioned he played for us which I totally forgot (in fairness he played 2 games lol).

Almost not only in that friendly. There was an interesting story in the national press about a year ago saying that Chairman Jim negotiated successfully with Man U to sign him circa 1974 as Utd were starting to find him too troublesome; but at the last minute our manager (Jago?) vetoed it and said he could only cope with one maverick genius at a time. An amazing “what if?” |

I remember almost all of those above. I mean who can forget the furniture remover? But it is hard to believe that not only did Vinnie jones play for us, but also Razor Ruddock. That era just after the new millennium does seem to have its share of long-forgotten ghosts though.... Karl Connolly, George Kulscar, Tim Breacker...
