Reading this it really is annoying that two or three times this club has had the chance to kick on and establish itself instead of watching Watford, Brighton, Brentford etc. - even Palace, they were nowhere when I first started coming here - become much bigger clubs. The 70s team, founder members of the Prem, top London side, European football, two more recent cracks at the top and all the fantastic players that have come here……

Sorry my initial comment misunderstood. Would say in my era / lifetime probably Rio. Although Cesar didnt have too bad a career!
I am sure the first game of 1 season (either the Bolton or Swansea defeat?) we started the game with 5 Champs League winners in our side?! Possibly Cesar, Bosingwa, Park, Cisse & Fabio?
